After much consideration I have decided I will no longer be breeding Velveteen lops or Holland lops and will be solely working on my small herd of Netherlands. I am just not doing the Velveteen breed justice and do not have the time to breed and hard cull to the extent that is needed to get this breed where it needs to be and have decided it's better if I move my rabbits to other barns more devoted to the breed and moving it forward, that being said this does not mean I will be completely out of the rabbit world and am still here to give advice and mentorship to anyone who wants. Thank you for understanding. I will be posting the rest of my Holland and Velveteen herd over the next few weeks so keep a look out as they are going for a steal of a deal. On another note concerning Pedigree, the rest of my lops and Hollands will be going with the prefix Wishing Willow Lopz but since I am solely working on Netherlands moving forward the name no longer seems appropriate. I will be changing my rabbitry name to Violet Woods Rabbitry and all of my Netherlands will be sold with that prefix. Kalamazoo and surrounding friends!

I have an amazing opportunity for someone wanting a neutered male Netherland Dwarf as a pet.
I was contacted by a sweet family last week about their boy. Life circumstances have changed for them and he is on the hunt for a new family to bring joy to. He just passed his latest vet visit with flying colors as well!

Hudini little is a spunky and sweet boy.

Had a super fun time at state convention last weekend.

My velveteen lop buck got BOV and BOB. I was the only one showing vlops in youth, unfortunately as I would love to see more vlops on the table but overall it was a good day.

I got some amazing insight on how to move forward in my ND herd, aswell as second place with my REW ND buck, Jasper.

I got some nice reviews on my holland doe clementine and hopefully will get started on my holland herd again.

Super excited to attend our first Rabbit show tomorrow in Lansing,MI for the Michigan RBA show! We will be showing 3 Netherland Dwarfs, 1 Holland lop and 1 Velveteen lop as well as bringing a couple velveteens to their new families. Excited to see some old friends and make new!
