🎉 Happy Birthday to Amanda! 🥳 She started riding at just 4 years old and hasn’t slowed down since. After riding with Valerie at Averett University, she reconnected for lessons when she moved to Greensboro, and it’s been great having her back!

Her trusty OTTB, Pete, keeps her company as they work on dressage (and sneak in a few DoorDash orders after lessons). Amanda has done it all: hunter/jumpers, eventing, and dressage.

Beyond the arena, you’ll find her and her horses enjoying hacks around the property, always ready for a treat or two. And Boston, her treat-loving, belly-scratch-obsessed companion, will do just about anything for some attention! Happy Birthday, Amanda! 🎂

Wrapping up an incredible show series at Steeple Hill! 🎉 Huge thank you to Steeple Hill for such a fun event, and a big shoutout to The Frequent Flyer Tack Shoppe for donating all the amazing prizes! ✨ We’re thrilled to announce our year-end results: Walker took home Champion of the Hopeful Hunter AND Hunter Hack 🏆, Orion earned Reserve Champion of Hunter Hack 🥈, and Dually snagged Reserve Champion of the Hopeful Hunter 🥈. So proud of our horses and riders! 💪

A big birthday shoutout to Abbey, who’s been riding with Valerie Harr Equestrian for nearly a year! 🎉 Abbey’s love for horses started at Flintrock Farm when she was just 4.5 years old, and by 17, her horse AbsolutOkra took her all the way to the “A” circuit. After a few years of barrel racing post-high school, she’s back to her jumping roots with VHE, and loving every moment! Abbey’s parents say she’s been obsessed with horses and unicorns since day one, and I believe it! 🦄 Whether she’s flying flags or practicing her nerf bow and arrow skills with Dragon (while he tries to eat the arrows 😂) or going on long trail rides with Dallas, Abbey brings fun and passion to everything she does. Happy belated birthday, Abbey! 🎂✨

Wishing Chrissy a fantastic birthday! 🎉 Chrissy has been riding with Valerie Harr Equestrian for 2 years and started her riding journey at age 7 in PA, competing in hunter shows and eventing. She got her 4-year-old OTTB, Bullet, in March 2023, and they’ve been training for eventing ever since. Bullet is a fan of apple treats and will do just about anything to get one! 🍎 While he loves cross-country jumping, he’s still working through a few “baby brain” moments, and we’re excited to be part of their journey. Happy Birthday, Chrissy!

Wishing Ashley the best of birthdays! 🎉 She has been riding with Valerie Harr Equestrian for a year and a half and has been riding for about 25 years in total. Ashley got into riding when her family moved to Arkansas; her grandparents, who were team ropers, bought her first mare named Miss America. As a youth, she showed mostly Western Pleasure, Trail, and Horsemanship, and transitioned to Hunt Seat Equitation and Hunter Under Saddle at 12. After graduating Vet School, she was able to own horses again and bought Mack. He has a sweet tooth and loves to trail ride with friends! Happy Birthday, Ashley! 🐴🎂

What an incredible show day at Steeple Hill! Despite the blazing heat, everyone did an amazing job and looked fantastic in the ring. The horses were absolute stars 🤩 and deserve a big apple for their hard work. So proud of everyone and all we accomplished! 🍎🐴
