The flowers survived last weeks frost. 😆

I’m not sure how it happened… it was 32° and we’ve lost the field at 36° before. It must have been patchy or light. Idk we were too busy with weddings to even notice until recently. What a happy surprise.
What does this mean??! Well I don’t plan on doing a full delivery run, but please reach out if you need any local flowers. Dahlias, cosmos, and marigolds mainly.
And of course, our wonderful brides and grooms get dahlias for at least the next two weekends 🌟

The last big harvest of the 2024 season!!
This year has been such a joy! I get to do what I love surrounded by the dream team. and . 🌸💗🌱 As well as so many wonderful brides and floral designers who make this dream possible. Thank you to each and every one of you!! See you tomorrow for the last delivery day of the year. 👩‍🌾

Oklahoma Salmon Zinnias.

I love how small the Oklahoma series is. This is our first time growing them, (we have white also) and they make me so happy. I’ve been trying to wait a little longer to harvest so they open to their full potential. They are strong and last forever after harvest. Patch looks good with no sign on disease after at least four/five weeks so far. 10/10.

Busy week around here and I always seem to be rushing, but when I saw this trunk load of flowers I was lost in a moment of bliss. The flowers really do bring a bit of peace.

As we plan our 2024 season we’re making decisions on what to keep and what to axe from our flower lineup. Cosmos were on the edge. Yes? No? ……..

Yesssss. I couldn’t let them go. And even though they’re finicky, have a small harvest window and always grow into a mess. We’re doing it. Cosmos live to see another year at Phoenix Hill Flower Farm.
