It’s hard to share the passing of a friend. The loss of someone who’s always near you, with eyes full of love and admiration. You can do no wrong to them and they will always wait for you, to hang out on the sofa, go on walks at the beach, hike up the mountain and cozy up in bed under the blankets. Just in case, they will lick your ears and face to confirm their love for you. If you drop any food from the table, they will quickly vacuum it up; and if you just forget something yummy somewhere within reach, yes they will eat that too. Their paws hitting the floor announce their presence before they come around the door; and if the door is closed, they will let you know, loudly if required, that you should let them in to hang out with you. After 12 years together, we will miss Daisy very very much...
Thanks Daisy for everything. For being our assistant, friend and partner in all our crazy adventures. For kilometers and miles of walks, car rides, flights and sailing. For all those cosy nights with you as our heater and snoring machine. For kilograms of salmon I cooked. For all the cables and floors chewed. For going crazy when seeing a drone. For all the love you gave us. You have been the best doggie ever and we will never forget you. There was never going to be enough time with you.
