Sadie Mae, German Shepherd Sadie Mae is a year and a half old German Shepherd found in the Mecca Hills of Palm Springs, CA in late April, 2013. Now she's home and happy!

Mecca is Sadie's original name, named for the place she was discovered, the Mecca Hills of Palm Springs, CA. She's believed to have been abandoned there to die. Thankfully she was discovered and luckily, found a group of people determined to give her a second chance. Being the total sweetheart she is, she's done nothing but warm the hearts of everyone who sees her. Shortly after being found, Sadie

weighed in at 60lbs. She was scared, bony, dehydrated, and showed signs of past injury. She's had xrays, shots, and bloodwork done all in one scary day. A few days after changing hands, Mecca was boarded and trained at Diamond Oaks Ranch in Murrieta, CA.
