Missy Holly is a 6 year old golden retriever and this is her first professional groom. Her owner said they got behind on brushing and needed some help to get her back in shape. She was a sweetheart! I love how long her belly feathering is! Girls tend to have less feathering, but she has tons!

Meet Ruby, a 4 month old poodle/golden retriever mix! Today was her first ever experience at a groomers and she found some things quite scary, but she did ok and we went nice a slow with a few breaks to play and have fun so that it was hopefully a positive experience for her!

A**l glands. A smelly topic, but one that we groomers sometimes face. When I started grooming 17 years ago, every groomer did anals on every dog at every appointment-it was considered the right thing to do. But after doing some of my own research I stopped doing them on all dogs about 10 years ago. If I feel there is a problem with them, I will recommend a visit to your vet. This video is why I no longer offer this as part of my grooming services.
