This is from the leader of the best Veteran K 9 program, which has set the standard for programs for Veterans and dogs.
Steve Stivers saw the PAWs Act passed, but never funded.

A new bill, the SAVEs Act, will support 501 c3s like Dogface K 9s' to make large training investments. Training a PTSD dog costs between 20k and 50k. This level of funding would massively increase the number of trained dogs we can donate to Veterans and First Responders.

The numbers are staggering and we need many more K 9s for Warriors and Dogface K 9s to help make this Moon Shot work.

Kessler is coming along quite well. This tail is up, but his head is still down too much. It's just a matter of time. His recovery has been fantabulous, and we work every day.
