A little about me 😼
I started my career as a Beauty Therapist before embarking on a career as a Mental Health Nurse. I worked as a Mental Health Nurse for 12 years before deciding I wanted a change in direction. For the last 2.5 years I have been employed as a Scheme Manager in sheltered accommodation for older adults which I love and has afforded me a better work/life balance. I have always been a cat lover and due to my improved work/life balance decided to start cat sitting alongside my full time job. I have been cat sitting for the last couple of years and have gained regular and valued clients along the way. I truly love cats and understand how important it is to have someone look after your beloved pet who you can trust entirely. I maintain regular contact whilst you're away for your reassurance and I spend that extra bit of time with your cat whilst they're home alone. I am on the DBS update service and am fully insured for pet sitting services for extra reassurance. I have my own marmalade cat Mango who is a rescue and is a little madam but I wouldn't have her any other way!

I'm Ashley (aka The *crazy* Cat Lady)!
I'm an experienced cat sitter and cat slave to my very own marmalade cat; Mango.
I have repeat bookings from customers whom have entrusted me to look after their kitties time and time again when they go away, so you can be sure your cat/s will be in safe hands.
I understand it is daunting leaving your cats with a stranger so I offer a free initial meeting to ensure you're happy before any booking takes place.
I send regular photo updates (as long as you want me to) so you can be reassured they're OK whilst you're away.
I tend to spend longer than most cat sitters during visits as I don't tend to take on more than one job at a time and I genuinely enjoy spending time with your cats. During a visit I will:
-feed the cat/s as per your instructions with the food you have left for them. Bowls will be cleaned each day.
-fresh water will be provided daily.
-litter tray cleaned and any mess made by the cat/s in the home.
-grooming if required (and if the cat allows!).
-play/cuddle time (this is not enforced as some cats are timid but may still take comfort in someone being there talking to them).
-during visits I can also water plants whilst you're away, take the bins out/in, collect your mail, open/close curtains.
-I have full insurance for pet sitting and ensure that I take great care whilst in your home.
***please note that I carry out my cat sitting role alongside a full time job between the hours of 8-4 Mon-Fri. This means that visits need to be outside of these times and therefore may not suit everyone's needs***
