He's all heart and she's all calm 💓

We don't know what they know - or what they think. We just know what they do 🥰

Even in the world of communication, it's so safe to agree what things mean by teaching them together...

And then the magic happens. What do they do?!

For many months, sweet Joy has been learning associations - the little "plant" 🪴 means NEW TOYS and enrichment!

The orange rectangle is always with her tablet (fish videos - did you know she shoals with the fish on the screen?! 😭)

While she gets a ❓ when she's getting quizzed ✍️

BUT the ⬆️ is always there when she gets to choose - no quizzing now - which is your favorite? 🥹

It was only last week that I finally put them ALL UP TOGETHER - a speech board for my darling water sprite girl

Not sure what to expect. (Not expecting much?!)

And definitely not expecting her to seemingly use multiple pictures to seemingly ask for things!

This little fish girl was *in her sparkly power* 🥳

WANT. TABLET. NO NOT THAT ONE 😂 WANT DIFFERENT TABLET (VIDEO).

Then ALSO PLEASE ENRICHMENT? 😍

She doesn't get treats for communicating, just for learning. I'm not sure she'll be as chatty as the girls - I think the treats have a little to do with that (but who knows?)

But every day now when I come in, she seems to ask for books, for her tablet - she lets me know if she doesn't like something. She seems to like piano music, so sometimes she asks for that...

I wonder what else I should teach her? What would a little water fairy find precious to know and to say? ❤️
