Guiding mindful pet owners in developing a deeper connection & understanding with their animals, themselves, & others around them through developing an awareness of and internally accessing the love, acceptance, compassion, & wisdom within themselves. Soulful Animal Connection Facilitator - Guiding mindful pet owners, animal companion guardians and animal caregivers in developing a deeper connecti

on & understanding with their animals, themselves, & others around them through developing an awareness of and internally accessing the love, acceptance, compassion, & wisdom within themselves. Animals are communicating with us all the time even when it seems they are just being ‘bad’, ‘drama queens’, or other labels that we might attach to their behaviors. They are letting us know what they need, what they don’t want, what is scaring them, what is making them feel uncomfortable, & many times they are also letting us know when we are out of balance (emotionally, physically, mentally, or spiritually). They tend to respond through their behaviors or through developing some type of health issue. Support is offered to help you to explore your relationship with your animals, yourself, & others and assist you in discovering ways to shift your energies, your beliefs, & your areas of resistance that are not supporting you in order to create more balance & harmony within & without. Vision: To inspire a worldwide community that recognizes all animals as sentient beings who are deserving of love, respect, compassion, & understanding; to encourage the exploration of the interconnection between all living things, including the animals who come into our lives; to develop a conscious awareness around our emotions, our health, and our reactions & observe where we are accepting or resisting circumstances occurring in our lives.

I'm thrilled to have been invited to be part of the panel for an event celebrating Women's Day.

THEME FOR 2024: "INVEST IN WOMEN: ACCELERATE PROGRESS" which revolves around inspiring inclusion.

LetUsTalkIt aims to have conversation around appreciating and respecting women from all different backgrounds – like where they come from, how much money they have, and their different beliefs – the world gets better for everyone. When women feel like they belong and are important, they feel stronger and more empowered.

I feel this should be an enlightening conversation with many different views.

In what ways do you feel women are being included and in what ways might they not be?

Enhancing knowledge & awareness to help pets be the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves.

Welcome to Petwell Navigation! We’re glad you decided to visit! Petwell Navigation helps pet guardians navigate and understand information about pet health and wellness so that they can feel more empowered to make decisions and help their pets be the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves. We provide information and resources for dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, and reptiles. We can help you to understand how to keep your pets safe through identifying hazards in and around your home and vehicle, how to prepare for emergencies, how to make arrangements when you are no longer capable of looking after your pet, inform you of different wholistic options to help with emotional and physical conditions in your pet, and be an advocate for you when you take your pet to the vet, to name a few.

Petwell Navigation formed out of the awareness that although pet guardians want to give the best care for their pets, they only have a certain amount of information. Unfortunately, people can only research or ask about information that they already have some awareness about, but there is a lot of information that people don’t have awareness about. As well, even if people do want to research information, this can take hours, which is time people often don’t have and information can be misleading, inaccurate, or all-together incorrect.

The seed was planted almost 20 years ago when Miranda was required to work in the Euthanasia section of the Humane Society as part of the Animal Health Technology program. She quickly discovered that not all of the animals being euthanized were actually sick, but that some of them had just been at the shelter for too long and nobody wanted to adopt them. She remembers holding this little hedgehog in her hands that she was having to euthanize. The hedgehog realized that it was in danger and curled itself into a ball to protect itself. It broke her heart knowing that she had to end it’s life among the many other animals waiting their unfortunate turns. Upon reading some of the reasons that people had surrendered their pets to the Humane Society, she discovered that some of the reasons could have been prevented, but realized much later that if those pet guardians had had the resources and information back then, they may not have felt the need to give up their beloved pets.

Petwell’s aim is to fill that gap by providing one-on-one consultations by phone or via a video medium, educational presentations, and generally helping pet guardians to navigate and understand the detailed information that exists about pet care and pet wellness.
