What a way to end the season. We lost our pug this year, so seeing this little one made me cry. I'm so happy to just hold him for a couple hours.

Park a Pooch has been very, very, slow lately, so we are closing our doors for the 2023 season. If you have a reservation already, it will still be honored, otherwise we will see you all in 2024.
Thank you for a great summer.

I may have been misleading on my business hours. I am actually only open for drop offs by appointment only. If I have no bookings for the day, I am not here and not open.
I apologize for my hours of business being misleading. I do take dogs between the hours of 7am and 6pm with a reservation..
But I AM NOT always open or on site. So please don't just assume you can bring your dog down and someone will be here. PLEASE make a reservation. I prefer a minimum of 3 days prior to service needed.

The holidays were good to us as far as business. And we loved it. But I also discovered that my little kennel isn't sturdy enough for boarding long term, unless the dogs are exceptionally well behaved. If you look at dog boarding facilities that specialize in long term boarding, they are usually made of concrete and metal. Now I understand why. My little wooden structure with plastic doggy doors and wooden floors, that can't be sprayed out when accidents occur, just can't handle that kind of use. I am sorry for the inconvenience, especially to my friends in the area, but I will not be taking long term boarders any longer, except for a couple of exceptions. (dogs that have been proven to not chew, dig, or cause excessive wear on the doggy door or other parts of the kennel.) I love the doggies, but my little kennel will be in shambles if I continue to treat it this way.
