Please share Gemma. Gemma wants to be your one and only but we promise, she is all you need. She is a lovable, sweet, lowrider.

GEMMA is female bully who is short and stocky and weighing in around 45lbs and estimated to be around 3 years old. Due to one too many indescrepancies, we do not know much about her history. What we do know is that she should not be in a home with small animals as she does have a high prey drive; dogs here size or larger may be ok, and it is recommended for her future adopter to utilize a trainer or behaviorist to properly test those waters. She is a people oriented dog and did wonderfully with her vet exam, blood draw and vaccines.
GEMMA will be available for adoption after July 28th and will need a home that has a fully fenced in yard. Unfortunately, Gemma is only available to homeowners as we know how quickly things can change and how many rentals do not allow dogs, especially those of her size and breed.
GEMMA will need an immediate foster if no approved applicant for her - foster should have no other pets. Kids over the age of 15 is best due to her strength and “bull in a china shop” ways. We really do not want to send this girl to boarding. We are also willing to work with another rescue that may be able to take her on. If any other rescue is able to help her, we would love to speak with you to ensure we have like application screening and contract protocols.

Lucky is patiently waiting for a new family.
She has lived with kids 8 and up.
She must be the only dog in her new home.
Lucky IS cat friendly.
She loves a car ride, playing with toys, house trained, crate trained, nondestructive when loose in the house and craves a good belly rub.

We are so sad to share the news that Roxie is back at the shelter.
A dog that has lived in a shelter for a long period of time needs a very patient person who will allow the dog to decompress. This breaks our hearts. Please share Roxie.

Meet adoptable Harley! 🐶

She is a 2.5 year old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix.

This gorgeous gal grew up in a shelter and was recently pulled into rescue. Her foster mom remarks at how easy she is in the home and how much she loves attention from her people.

Harley is being crate trained and is house trained.

She loves to give kisses and enjoys going on car rides. Harley is very food motivated and very playful. She loves to run in the yard and can entertain herself or is content laying by your side.

Harley does like to jump up and we are working on that so we are recommending her for a home with teens and up. Harley prefers to be your one and only pet. She is all you will need!

She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and vaccinated.

🎉 Wednesday is officially adopted!!! 🎉

After being in foster care for nine months, Wednesday has finally found her person! Ben is a repeat adopter and lost his dog to cancer last year. Once we heard that he was looking for a new foster pup, we knew Wednesday would be the perfect fit for him. All it took was one meet and greet with Wednesday to fall in love and commit to adoption. We’re hopeful that Wednesday and Ben will have an amazing life together 🐾

She’s looking for a foster, as her current foster mom has to travel starting THIS WEEK through the first week of September!!

We’d LOVE to keep from putting her back in a kennel, but we need someone to step up for her.

📣 Two chill, little ladies looking for a home

These two canine companions were left at our vet’s office. Their owner is homeless and they have been living in his car together.

Local shelter said they were full and could not accept them. One of our amazing fosters stepped up to take them.

They really deserve a home of their own and have been through so much.

Thank you to Dr. Scotto & staff at Mercy Animal Hospital for their vet visit today. We appreciate you!

Lola, the black and tan mix, weighs 25lbs. and is approximately 8 years old*.

Cashmere, the Boxer mix weighs 47lbs. and is approximately 5 years old*.

They’re low maintenance ladies and easy on leash. 😀
