Winter is safe!!! Thank you everyone who donated. He will get seen by the vet, farrier, vaccines and dental to kickstart his new life 😍
*GRAPHIC* This poor mare is getting picked up today and going straight to the hospital. We couldn’t let her sit at the lot and were sent her video as soon as she was posted. We have no idea what medical costs will be and will keep everyone posted. Her initial bail was $325 and transport to the hospital will most likely be around $150-200.
We got shared this mini today and have been asked to help. His bail was $325. We do not know what his medical costs will be or if the vets will be able to create a plan to help him. He has to do two weeks of quarantine before he can go to the specialty hospital that has a surgeon who has helped similar cases.

We picked this guy up today. Not only does he have terrible feet but he has a giant mass on his genitals and what appears to be urine scalding on his legs. He’s off the lot and has an appointment to go into the clinic. We have named him Casper and are hoping for the best outcome for him 😔 pictures in comments
Well, apparently fall is our time of year for big rescue groups. 14 minis, several are heavily pregnant, just came in to the kill pen in Oklahoma. We want to get the young ones out as quickly as possible as well as the mare dripping milk in case she foals. We are looking for help to cover a portion of their bail! Any donations would be extremely appreciated 🙏🏻🧡 (we can’t upload both videos on Facebook so head over to our Instagram to see the other babies)

Happening now at the Bowie livestock auction! 16 orphans foals from reservation ponies that were sent to slaughter. @allseatedinabarn is at the auction now and we have committed to taking in 6 in under Little Hooves. Donations toward their care would be extremely appreciated!
These babies are at high risk of infection and illness from being at the auction. They will sell for $200-400 each most likely and then need time in quarantine to make sure they are healthy enough to travel before coming to our barn.
‼️Medical Case‼️ We pulled this senior mini this afternoon. He had extensive swelling on both sides of his face so we got him off the lot and taken straight to the clinic. After the initial exam, vets don’t think he has strangles, but was kicked in the trachea. He was started on fluids after blood work and we are awaiting results from x-rays. Those will let us know if he needs to go to the bigger hospital to get an emergency tracheotomy done. We’ve named him Hero 🧡 Updates to come in our story.
It’s with great sadness that I share this morning that Bunny, the skinny mare we got yesterday, passed away last night. The lot messaged me this morning. They were closed today for pickups because of the holiday. They’ve allowed us to transfer her funds to another horse and we wanted to save another life in her honor so we chose this completely blind gelding. He’s been a ranch horse and gets around well, but no one has wanted him because of his vision problems. I wish we could have been there sooner for Bunny, but I hope she’s found peace now 🧡
We’ve been asked to help get this mare off the lot! We have pick-up heading there on Tuesday morning already and several kind individuals have wanted to give this mare a soft landing. We are looking to fundraise $2,000 to help cover her bail ($450), quarantine (~$450), transport ($600) and farrier. She is so shut down and needs love. We would name her Bunny in honor of Easter weekend. Let’s get this girl to a home! 💕
It’s okay sweet girl, we’ve got you and we’ll do everything we can. I’m sorry people have failed you 🧡
Merry Christmas from Little Hooves! We are so thankful for all the love, families, and minis in our lives! 🎄❤️
Swamped with vet/quarantine bills, stressed about our pair of Belgians, trying to figure out what to do with 55 minis, nailing down some final details on an exciting announcement, and also working a full time job has had me wiped out…but this video of Waffles, now Walnut, who was once so shut down, has made my day so much better. I hope he makes yours a little better too. Enjoy the donkey play 🧡 and thank you @kayne_ehrlich for being one of the best homes for not one, but THREE of our LHR minis.
A little loving for my favorite big man today! Mr. Ghost is slowly looking better and skin is getting less irritated 🧡
