Teaching your dog to "wait" is an essential skill that can be super useful in many situations—whether at the door, before meals, or during walks. 🐾
✨ Start with short sessions and gradually increase the time.
✨ Use positive reinforcement and stay patient.
✨ Always keep it fun and rewarding! 🎉
But remember, no matter how well-trained, dogs should never be left unsupervised while waiting. Safety first! 🧡

This adorable little guy has a special quirk – when he runs, he does the cutest little hop with his back legs! We often get comments from people thinking something might be wrong, but actually he only does this when he's HAPPY! 😄🎉
Sometimes when you see a dog with an unusual habit it could just be their way of showing the world how happy they are! 😊🐾 Does your dog have a unique way of showing excitement?
Share it with me in the comments!👇

You’ve probably seen your dog shake off after a bath, but did you know they also shake off to release stress or tension? 🥹
A quick shake after an exciting or stressful event - like meeting a new dog, after training, or even after taking their harness off - is your dog’s natural way of resetting and calming themselves. 🐕✨
It’s like their way of saying, “I’m okay now!” ❤️ So, if you see your pup give a little shake-off, it’s a good sign they’re decompressing and getting back to balance.
Let them shake it off! 🎵🐾

Many people think teaching puppies tricks is a priority, but the most important thing before 16 weeks is SOCIALIZATION 🌟
This is the period when puppies are most open to new experiences, and it’s the best foundation for their future behaviour. Introducing them to a variety of environments, people, sounds, vehicles, other dogs and animals will help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adults. It isn't about overloading your puppy, but gradually exposing them in a positive way. 🐾
A well-socialized puppy is more likely to grow into a happy, balanced dog. Tricks can come later, but first, let them explore the world around them safely! ✨

Today we focused on the "stay" command, which you can see in the video 🐾. It's so important to start in a quiet environment with low distractions and gradually build up to more challenging situations—think kids, other dogs, noisy streets, and even squirrels!
A few tips for a successful training session:
✔️ Make sure your dog is fed, relaxed, and has had a toilet break before you begin.
✔️ Keep them in a calm, positive mood—not overstimulated.
✔️ Most importantly, make training fun with lots of rewards and encouragement 🎉!
And please remember: NEVER leave your dog unsupervised!

"Should dogs be allowed to eat grass?" ☘️ It's a question many dog parents ask! While it's natural for dogs to nibble on grass from time to time, there are a few things to consider. Some experts believe dogs might eat grass to help with digestion or simply because they enjoy it. However, if your pup is eating large amounts of grass or throwing up afterward, it is worth discussing it with your vet.
