My 1st show in year and my 1st with my daughter... sell out show!! We sold every spider (almost 100) and all the hogs except for a dozen or so. Melissa even did her 1st trades and traded some spiders for a sand boa. All on her own. So proud. And thank you JT Grant for hooking her up and giving her that opportunity brother!! Met old friends & made new friends and customers. Even got to meet Darien the owner of MorphMarket. Really nice guy. All a round excellent show thank you Shawn for having us it was a blasts!!! Amazing to see so many tables selling our product!! We were literally competing against ourselves.

Just letting Everyone Know Fuzzy8 will be doing the Herps OKC show this August 3 & 4th. Please come see us. We probably wont have any hogs (still hatching) but will have several very cool species of Jumpers for sale and some temp sexed female sulcata's we hatched. This will be my daughters 1st show!! Rant # ??? ADULTS RUIN EVERYTHING When I 1st started Fuzzy8 I was attacked, ridiculed, ripped off and ganged up on by some in the very community that I was trying to service.. That is one insecure market!! Mostly breeder/jobber drama... now a year later.. after gobbling up pet chain after pet chain.. supplying breeder after breeder.. nabbing customer after customer many of those same peeps want to do biz now!! My how things have changed in such a short time lol.. Complaining they cant get variety and everyone wants variety now... boo %$@* hoo... you all knew I was doing this for my daughter... if you are so insecure you can't even let an 11 year old girl chase her dreams then you need to go.. plenty of girls and boys just like mine who want a shot. How dare you not hold them up and let them. Well sir/mam or ?? here's your notice.. I intend on helping every person I meet become a breeder or dealer.. let competition do it's thing!! It's the American Way!! My past track record with hognose will speak for itself if you doubt me. Any kid comes to me with their parents permission wanting a little starter pack and maybe try their hand at selling I'm here for you and will work with you ( and parents)! This is supposed to be fun. Not Hoarded by a bunch of gatekeeping $$ who care more about insects then their own kind...rant over and feeling better.. feeling really good actually!!

Soldier Fly Larvae are probably the single best feeder you can buy for jumping spiders. They come in a wide range of sizes that can feed a i5 up to adult. Much more nutritious than meal worms and they wont kill your spider if it molts. I normally put 3-4 ( half spiders size) at a time and they act as cleanup crew feeding on any waste in the cage. If not eaten they will eventually turn into a harmless fly that your spider will enjoy!! I feed our soldier fly larvae's a mix of used wet coffee grounds and Repashy fruit fly mix in powder form. I also lay a piece of greens or lettuce ontop!! I buy ours from Dubiaroaches.com and have had excellent customer service!!

This should be a lot of fun!! Got in my runner and table sign, few other odds and ends etc. Pretty much all set to take the kid on some adventures!! I want to keep it extremely easy and simple. I dont want to lug a ton of stuff around. Maybe a bag or two and a box of spiders. Load up the Challenger and head out!! Any advice? So what shows do you guys think are best for inverts? I'm probably not going to do many local DFW shows. I want to use this as opportunity to travel a bit have fun. let me here your suggestions!!

Not a bad 1st week/ half on MM for Jumpers.. picked up a few wholesale orders on top of this so pushing around 2k.. and that's not even adding in my usual weekly orders. But check this out... 13k views NICE!!.. NOW why am I showing you this. Because I have ALOT of spiders and want my brothers and sisters to join in!! THAT'S a lot of market!! I can make a lot of people successful at this if they try. I never cared about competition , I have always held my own if not better in this industry. What I do want is more and more customers that are easy to deal with and in it for the long haul, that is my motivation!!

Foot traffic.. foot traffic ..foot traffic.... let say it again lol... foot traffic.. Long ago I use to work for a few wholesale companies.. we serviced hundreds of petstores across the country. Two main types of biz models.. one the mark up queen.. everything and anything was marked 100-500% of cost... the other a feeder store disguised as a pet store.. which one did best!! The feeder type by a long shot. WHY. simple... they carried animals that generate foot traffic... animals that required special food and habitats.. those animals were sold at near cost WHY.. because the feeders were marked up 100-1000%. It is priceless for a brick and mortar store to have people coming and going. How much would you pay for a customer to come to your store every week?? 5.00ea 10ea?? Why do I ask because investing in your customers is what you should be doing... would you hold a raffle for a free cornsnake or jumping spider if it netted you a new customer every week?? what if you did that every week for a year.. how would 50 new customers improve your situation.. 100??
