Blessed with an amazing opportunity on a hunt today, with some close friends. Then of course, Duff got some more exposure on bigger birds and his confidence is building!

Decided to give duff a chance in his first ever chukar challenge and he did not disappoint taking fourth out 19 or 20 dogs, especially when all but one or two other dogs were aged and have been playing the game for a while. Hardy Hill put on a great hunt with nice flying birds!

Just want to start off by saying thank you to the judges, workers, and the south western PA hunting retriever club for a great event! I fell a little short of the SHR title by 7 months old due to some health issues with duff but at 10 months old he’s officially SHR Duff Is King going a perfect 4 of 4 passes in the first four HRC events he’s been entered into! I am beyond proud of the fact he didn’t cheat the bank in a situation easy to do so on a water mark and that he was able to problem solve a land mark he never watched do to the wind drowning out the call and heading away from us towards the mark.

Ideally a 2/3 bedroom house, with minimally a few acres.
**** If a lease or rental, it must allow a multi dog kennel to be set up outdoors & be in an area that is rural enough to minimally allow gun shots from “poppers” while working dogs***

Price range will truly depends on the property.

Lower price range:
- House
- Property (that will allow or has enough room for a multi dog kennel)

Upper price range:
- House 2/3 bedroom
(not necessarily- but would prefer to have one onsite)
- Will allow a multi dog kennel or outer buildings/barns on the property to be turned into a dog kennel
(Willing to modify outdoor buildings or bring our own in)
- Water
(pond or flowing water through property, or willing to allow us to make them to work dogs with)
- Fields
(Fields to work dogs in, on live birds)
- Will allow bird pens to raise birds in to use for training purposes
