Meet Ruby and Rufus!

Ruby and Rufus are a bonded brother-and-sister duo looking for their forever home. These medium-sized, three-year-old dogs are the perfect size to fit into most households.

Quiet and gentle by nature, Ruby and Rufus can be shy when they first meet you, but once they get to know you, their affectionate personalities shine through.

Ruby and Rufus have received basic training and know how to sit, drop, wait, go onto their mat, and are comfortable being contained in a crate for travel or chill-out time. Their excellent manners and training make them a joy to have around.

These two are very bonded and would thrive in a household where they can stay together. They love running around together in the paddock and are happiest when they are in each other's company.

Their ideal home would be a quiet family household, preferably with older children, where they can feel safe and loved.

If you're looking for affectionate, well-behaved dogs who are past the puppy stage and ready to settle into family life, Ruby and Rufus could be the perfect addition to your home.

Are you ready to welcome Ruby and Rufus into your family? Then please contact our Shelter Manager Yvette on 0421 831 128 to organise a time to come and meet this lovely duo.

🚨 TAMMY IS MISSING PLEASE SHARE
🚨Sighting 27th Dec. of Tammy running up and down McLeod st Condong at 12.15am the 27th. Owner was notified and we looked around for about 45 mins with no luck. If everyone living on McLeod st could please keep their eyes out for her. Last seen near house number 29.🚨

Dec. 25th Tammy is still missing and last seen in the canefields opposite Condong sugar mill near Clothiers Creek road.

Does anyone know a professional dog tracker who could help find Tammy from today onwards?

She may seek shelter in your sheds and when last sighted was already exhausted having travelled up TVW.

She has recently had pups. She is a working Kelpie and still pretty unfamiliar with towns and timid even with kids. She does not bite.

Her name is Tammy.

Please call Neroli Sheldon on 0403 690713 any time if you have sighted her and we will come. Really grateful for any extra eyes on the lookout for Tammy.

Reward offered.

Thank you. Neroli

Merry Christmas Koda💖

This is Koda (previously Bronson)
As you can see, Koda has very much made himself at home😊
Looking forward to seeing how big he gets.

Koda has had a lot to process this past month. He's a smart boy and is responding to training on how to be gentle with his kitty sisters.
He's going to be the best big boy.

Thank you so much for giving this beautiful big boy such a loving home💚🐾🐾

💚If you all remember this little one from being in Tweed Shire Pound?
Well she is in permanent foster care now
Merry Christmas "Precious Roxie"
Yes she has two names now😺

This little one was found to have some ongoing kidney problems and some other health issues to be followed up, so will be in permanent foster. Tracy her foster carer says she's just beautiful and already has a favourite spot behind the lounge and has made herself at home on Tracy's bed

Precious Roxie is approximately 14 years according to vet assessment and although maybe not 100% in health she makes up for it in attitude and personality

Thank you everyone that reached out to offer help and ask about her welfare 💖

She looks beautiful here, but when she first came into care she had terrible tummy problems and some bladder issues from the pressure from her tummy
That has settled down now with some very good food and rest and love ❤️

She will be having a fantastic Christmas 🎁

DOG of the WEEK is COBRA – Your Perfect Adventure Companion!

Cobra is an energetic, intelligent, and affectionate boy ready to find his new home.

Cobra is highly trained. Over the past two years, Cobra has graduated from group training to intensive one-on-one training sessions. Cobra knows a range of commands, including sit, down, place, crate, leave it, and come. Cobra enjoys any activity which stimulates him mentally or physically.

Cobra is suited to an active household. He is the perfect mate to accompany you on runs or bike rides, travels comfortably in a crate, and is a joy to have in café settings. He’s not a barker or destructive, and he calmly handles being tied up when necessary.

Cobra is friendly and affectionate. Cobra gets along with other dogs and knows how to interact appropriately. He particularly loves one on one time with his special person where he will show you his playful and affectionate side.

**Special Bonus** As Cobra is still learning to be the best dog he can be, a free comprehensive training pack and ongoing support will be provided to ensure Cobra's smooth transition into your home.

If you’d like to meet Cobra or find out more about him, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette, on 0421 831 128.
