A little bit about me…

Dog Trainer | CCDPT Trainee | BFA

I’m a passionate animal lover, currently training to become a certified dog trainer (CCDPT). With a focus on helping pets and their owners build strong, positive relationships, I strive to create happier, healthier lives for the animals in my care. My creative background with a BFA adds a unique touch to my work, whether it’s capturing the perfect shot with my camera or thinking outside the box when training and caring for animals. In my free time, I enjoy riding horses, exploring photography, and connecting with people who share my love for animals and creativity.

How to teach your dog the “sit” command.
#1 -using a food lure like a liver treat, say their name and get their attention
#2 -let your dog smell the treat in your closed hand
#3-lift your hand slowly above their head, as you do this their body will naturally move into a seated position, calmly and clearly use the command, “sit”
#4 -once they are in a seated position, reward them with their treat and a “good dog”
Tip: repeat at different intervals, and in different scenarios.
Remember practice makes perfect! Once they show they are aware of what you are asking them, you can slowly phase out the treat rewards and replace them with your vocal rewards.

•Puppy Basics (6x30 min sessions): $175

•30-Minute Walk: $20
