Sadly, her front leg couldn't be saved, but she has blossomed into the most spirited little tripod you could ever meet. At about 6 years old, she is believed to be a mix of terrier and Chihuahua, weighing no more than 12lbs. Romina thrives best with a small dog companion, is house trained, and enjoys peacefully sleeping on her dog bed. 🐾 A Day in the Life of a Rescue🐾 Yesterday was a deeply impactful day for our rescue team. We had dedicated volunteers who successfully rescued 6 dogs from a high-kill shelter in Bakersfield. Our rescue founder, Lisa, also made a significant effort by transporting several puppies to Mexico for their spay/neuter appointments, and she managed to save two pregnant mothers, placing them in safe foster homes just in time for the holidays.
