This week, we are shining a light on Paddington, a senior dog who was discovered in a heartbreaking situation. A compassionate person found him on a dirt road in TJ, bound in chains and suffering from severe neglect. He quickly entered our program, where we worked diligently to assess his health and provide the care he desperately needed. Unfortunately, Paddington faced another challenge when he developed bloat, a serious condition requiring immediate veterinary attention. The expenses for his ongoing care have been significant, and we kindly ask for your support in sponsoring Paddington to help cover his emergency vet bills and ensure he can continue to thrive in a safe environment.

🐾🚨Urgent Fosters Needed 🚨🐾

Thumbolina and Cornelius came from a very abusive and neglectful home. They were relinquished by their owner when a kind individual learned of the abuse they were enduring. They both were fully evaluated by a vet and after being in a safe foster home in Mexico are ready to make the freedom ride to the US. Both are estimated to be around 5 months old and weighing under 12 lbs. They are believed to be terrier mixes. They are still learning their puppy manners but are shy, curious, friendly and loving. Do you have space before the holidays to provide a safe haven for one or both of these sweet pups!

This lovely mama and her two adorable puppies are in need of a foster home. While we don't know her exact age, she is thought to be over a year old, and her puppies are around 5 months old. They were discovered wandering the streets of Mexico. The mother appears to be a terrier mix. Before they embark on their journey to the US, they will be spayed and neutered. Coconut is an energetic young dog, approximately 1.5 years old, brimming with enthusiasm and charm. Weighing around 40 pounds, she is a playful goofball who has mastered some commands and is both crate and house trained, ensuring peaceful nights. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she requires a proper introduction to understand their play styles. In her current foster home, she thrives, especially with pups of similar size and age. Coconut can be a bit protective, barking at unfamiliar faces, but she is affectionate with people, relishing cuddle time in bed or on the couch. A yard would be a perfect playground for her to expend her energy, and she absolutely loves water, especially when the hose is on. While he may struggle with balance, his vibrant personality shines through, proving that great things come in small packages at just 23 pounds. He’s around 2 years old. This goofy and sweet pup has a hint of shyness but quickly opens up, especially to the ladies. Men might take a bit longer to win him over, but a tasty treat can work wonders. With an unquenchable desire for belly rubs, she joyfully rolls over, inviting attention. A fantastic companion, she relishes shared experiences, whether it's leisurely strolls or spirited 3-4 mile runs with her foster. While she gets along well with cats, she requires gradual introductions to dogs, taking her time to adjust. She has been enjoying group walks with other dogs and has thrived by learning new tricks. This week, Tuxie is our first one up, she has been in our program since she was a puppy. She was adopted out but when the family realized she required a supplement for her EPI condition they returned her. Since being back in our program she’s been cared for by a loving foster family, but hardship hit her once again, when it was learned that she tore her ACL and required surgery. Please sponsor Tuxie on her road to recovery after an expensive surgery to provide her mobility back to her leg.
