Puppies are 8 weeks old today 🐾 here is a little video of playtime with Mom last night 💜
Socializing and doing new things are so important for puppies. They have to learn that the world around them and outside of their home is safe. Take them on car rides, walk them around dog friendly stores, sit in the front yard or park and just people watch. Those first few weeks are important to set your puppy up for a lifetime.

Slow and steady, I listen to the puppies and respect their needs. 5 days ago they said NO WAY to the water bottles but today it was a big hit….for most!! 🐾🩷💙🐾

First Day in a new area is very stressful for puppies, I try to put familiar things in their area to help but it’s still hard on them PLUS Mom is not living in the same room. I slowly start weaning to try to prevent mastitis so she is on scheduled visits. The puppies have teeth at this point and it becomes really hard on her because they are like shark 🦈 teeth. I have been their comfort since day one so they see me and want me close hince the barking. I add something new every single day for their curriculum so they learn things are safe and to build confidence, these guy’s and girl are actually ahead of some of my other litters and tackle everything full force with no hesitation.
