Please sign the petition to get these foul officers prosecuted.
No matter what happened that day, the only thing clear is to us is the blatant and senseless abuse of power.
Marshall and Millions did not deserve to die that day and met police need to be held accountable for this disgusting tragedy.
We can work together to create a better reality.
We sincerely hope Marshall and Millions are at peace now knowing there are so many people fighting for their justice.

To add to our fundraising we have decided to start a plant nursery and all of the funds made will go to getting our license and any animals currently under our care 💜

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately we have had some sad news.
The crumpled horn will no longer be holding our quizzes/dog shows due to a rule change. This means that both our March 13th and April 10th dates have been cancelled. It boils down to us still trying to get our license.
Now more than ever it is so important for us to finally get to that goal, so although we have lost 1 venue, we have gained 3 others!
Please look out for upcoming events around Billericay, Hutton and Harold Hill/Noak Hill!

It's throwback Thursday!

Over a year ago we had a small guinea pig called Hayley come to us after her loving family could not give her enough time anymore. We tried for a long time to find her the best home possible with a few applications that unfortunately were not in her best interest. We were starting to think she would be with us indefinitely but we had a new year miracle!
The perfect family came along and rode right into the sunset with her!
Now she has an older doggy brother and even her very own hammock

Hey everyone,
We have booked our next couple of fundraisers with the Horn!
Monday March 13th and Monday April 10th
We do our best to do one each month but due to availability we have had to skip February.
Come and show your brains and your doggy off in our quiz and dog show!
£3 per person and £3 per doggy to enter.
The first 3 dogs to win will get a special prize but all dogs will have a participation prize so no one is left out

Hey everyone!
Come and meet us and the great team at The Deers Rest for a great day full of fun, whilst raising money for charity!
We are here supporting Mind, everything raised today is going to them 💙
Not going anything to do today whilst the sun is still out? Pack the kids up and bring them with you, there is a bouncy castle, prize stalls and a soft play room along with some stalls with bits and bobs to buy like posters, Crystals incense (Silver Sky Crystals)and our stall with things for everyone, four and two legged!

We still have little sophie up for adoption!
She is the sweetest rabbit we have ever had the pleasure to have helped. She is very tame and loves cuddles and sitting with you to watch tv!
Roughly a year and 5/6 months now she has been looking for her forever home for a little while now.
If you think you can give her that then please do not hesitate to get it touch 😊

Our lovely little sophie is ready for adoption!
A year old now and She is neutered, but is best rehomed either with a neutered male or alone, it may be possible to introduce her to female rabbits but for now she really doesn't like them unfortunately!
Apart from that she is the sweetest little bunny, will sit with you for cuddles and loves to roam around the garden.
If you feel as if you can offer sophie her forever home please let us know!

Upcoming Events!
In order to raise money for our animals we host fun nights out for friends and family, even your dogs can come along to some of them! (subject to venue rules)

4th of May- The Deer's Rest (formerly known as Bear) We are having a quiz and raffle night! Dogs are allowed in the bar area so you are more than welcome to bring your pooch along. It will be £2 per person to play our quiz and we will also have a raffle afterwards with a chance to win some great prizes before you leave!

30th of May- Crumpled Horn
You can bring your dogs to this one too because they are the stars of the show! A quiz, a dog show and a raffle? There is something for everyone! It will be £3 to play our quiz and £3 to enter your dog in the show. All dogs get a participation prize and the first 3 will get a special prize! No need to dress them up unless you want to! Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets, we have some hidden gems in store for you!

Meet Hayley! She is our sweet little Guinea Pig who is looking for her forever home! Approximately 2 years old and here due to no fault of her own, she is the nicest girl who will be a pleasure to have in someones family!
Whilst we encourage children learning how to care for animals, it is the adults responsibility to make sure all pets are fed, have water and are in good health.

We have some fur babies up for adoption!

Sophie- tan and white rabbit approx 11 months old- will be nuetered very soon
Hayley- black and white Guinea pig approx 2 years (to be rehomed with other guineas)
Chloe- torti kitty cat (black,ginger and white) 10 years old (behaviour and environment to be discussed during application.
If you are interested in adopting any of these amazing animals please get in touch via whatsapp or the page.
Whilst we are not against teaching children how to care for animals, it is not a child's responsibility to have sole care of them, adults should still be making sure they are well fed, have fresh water and are healthy.

Hey everyone!
We have the sweetest little Guinea pig for adoption.
Renamed Hayley in her foster home, she is approximately 2 years old and will need to be rehomed with other guineas. Her friend died not long ago and became shy, and is with us due to no fault of her own! She is not aggressive just very shy, give her a little bit of food and she will take it from your hand and sit to eat with you😊 (after a few steals and dashes back in the hut).
She needs someone who is able to put some work in, with the right person we are sure she will flourish!
We do no rehome to anyone under the age of 16 alone, so please bare this in mind when applying. Home checks and adoption fee applies, she will also come with a starter pack of food and bedding 😊

The starlight team would like to say a HUGE thank you to karen for donation these massive bags of dog food.
Without people like you it's hard for rescues to help as many animals as possible, we are very greatful and our future doggies will definitely be too!
