Tennis balls—they hold such a special place in the hearts of so many beloved dogs. I’ve just completed this new series of cremation urns inspired by that joy. The one on the left has already found a home, but the others are still available. I haven’t listed them on my website or Etsy yet, but I wanted to share them with you first.

I am back from my yearly time off and excited to get back to work. Before I left I had sculpted a wonderfully challenging urn for an amazingly adorable kitty. As these are so time intensive, I only do a few a year, but wanted to share this one with you.

Not everyone is going to understand how deep the grief you feel really is. They may tell you to get over it, it’s ’just a dog’ ‘it’s just a cat’. But they are not ‘just’. A pet is around you more than anyone else. They are always there. That loss creates an empty space in your heart. It is real. It is valid. Find the people who do support you. We are everywhere, and we understand. We really, really do.
