What We Offer and About Us

Hello there! I started this rescue because of all the piggies I saw that needed homes, but could not find them. I have 6 happy cavies of my own!

Pigs we’ll take:

We will help to figure out means of transportation if need be or you are out of state!

We offer:

Prices:

Boarding: $15 per night

Grooming/Clipping/Bathing: $20 full package. Includes weighing!

Adoption: $45-50 per pig. $85 for bonded pair. (This is a huge source of income and helps pay for food, bedding, hay, and veggies!)

Pregnancy Caretakers: $5 per baby. This is if you have an accidental pregnancy, but do not wish to give away your female. We take in the female and take care of the litter. We can work out whether or not you want the grown babies back. (I offer this because I’ve seen many people give away beloved piggies because they are pregnant. I want to help lessen this problem)

Schedule for the Pigs:

6:30 am: First feeding time of the day. Small amount of food.

3:30-11:00 pm: Out and about time in the run for piggies.

9:00 pm: Feeding time. Includes Veggies, Half Bowl of Food, Hay Refill, Water Refill.

Once a week: Usually Saturdays. Full cage cleans. Replace bedding.

After a pig is adopted out: The cage is bleached out and rebedded.

FAQ:

Q: Is bleach okay to use on pig cage? A: Yes and it is HIGHLY recommended when using a cage for multiple different pigs because it kills any bacteria and sickness so that it does not spread. The cage is given a day and a half to dry. Washed out with water afterwards.

Q: How long have you owned Guinea Pigs? A: 5 1/2 years. I have done lots of research and have learned the best way in feeding and cleaning schedule from all my pigs. I currently have 30. I have had a total of about 60 including my rescues who have gotten homes.

Q: Are you prepared to deal with sicknesses? A: Yes! I also have a trusted vet on hand. I have lots of medication for URI which is very common and contagious in guinea pigs. I also have foot ointment for swollen paw pads.
