Happily playing now with the other dogs after settling in to her foster home.

Mouse is also proving to be child friendly and was lovely when she met the foster carers young grandchildren and more than happy in their company .

In foster Surrey UK

Mouse is approx 2 years old and a small female Podenco .

She is currently in foster with other dogs and a cat .
Mouse has relaxed over the last couple of weeks and whilst at first a little defensive towards the other dogs she is now playing well with one of the younger playful ones and is respectful towards the older dog .
She can sometimes get a little jealous when sitting on a humans lap if another dog approaches .
She would suit being an only dog as she loves her humans and is a proper little Lao dog or she could live with another dog that is pretty laid back or that likes to play.

Mouse has been walking well on the lead and harness and has been quite clean in the house with only the odd accident since arriving in the UK .

She’s a very small size , has been good when left with the other dogs . She has been very interested in the cat and has looked to chase him so for this reason we are saying no cats in a new home.

New boy , we have named him

LANDO BONES 💙
Bear with us guys we are having loads of enquires for Lando. 😍

A lovely boy , very very skinny , newly rescued . He’s a big boy , very tall and weighing just over 20 kilos but needs a lot more weight in him .

Vet checked and now at home in the rescue where he’s very happy to have some love .

Anyone want a bigger lad ?

LANDO is a smashing boy who we can’t wait to see blossom . He will be striking once he’s filled out . He will hopefully be ready to look for his forever home in the new year.

MOUSE 🩷
In foster in Surrey UK

Mouse arrived in foster at the weekend .
She is a very small approx 2 years old female Podenco .

It is very early days and Mouse is yet to show her true personality but we think that she would probably be best suited as an only dog or with a very chilled second dog as she does like to have all the attention and gets a bit jealous.

She has seen the resident cat and attempted a chase so second introductions will be once she has settled and relaxed more.

She’s happy with humans and thrives on their attention .

Mouse was taken in after being abandoned in a market in Spain . She first went into foster in Spain , then to the rescue and now to the UK into foster so she’s had lots of uncertainty. Time to decompress in her foster home and hopefully a loving forever home where she can get all the attention will have her blossoming .

Happy endings loving the best life in the US , learning the routine quickly and tiring herself out on the ranch … she’s found the snooze spots very quickly .

This weekend we will see the last of the candy shop 9 pups make their way to their forever home when Flossie ( to be called Stella ) will arrive in the UK . So pleased for all these beautiful pups .

🐾 A moment from our work: meet Kaylee, our newest furry team member!

🐶 Say hello to Kaylee! She’s our newest colleague and four-legged helper, adopted just a month ago from the Spanish organization Ibizan Hound Rescue. Thanks to the amazing collaboration of Galgos de la Estrella and Adopce psů bez hranic, Kaylee made her way to the Czech Republic and straight into our hearts.

Kaylee is only 6 months old and living her best puppy life. At home, she loves playing with her doggy brother (we’ll tell you more about him soon!). And let’s just say… her owner sometimes wonders if she adopted a kangaroo instead of a dog—Kaylee could totally compete in a world championship for both long and high jump! 🦘

🖥️ But Kaylee isn’t just about fun and games—she’s got an important "job" here at Bene Meat. She’s helping us develop cultivated meat as a feed ingredient for her canine pals. Her boundless enthusiasm keeps us motivated and reminds us why we do what we do.

🌍 And honestly, Kaylee’s sweet personality is what makes her a star. She adores everyone she meets, and everyone immediately falls in love with her. She’s a daily inspiration for all of us to keep moving forward in our mission.
