🔸Binnia Delta is out of Porters Dell Ray, who won over 65 campdrafts with a dozen different riders. She is by Binnia Maverick, who was an Open draft winner at 5 year of age and was out of Binnia Arena. Arena was also the dam of Binnia Actress, Binnia Lareena, Binnia Reanna, who were all Open Campdrafters. Delta comes from an impeccable family of campdrafting horses but did not compete herself.

🔹The sire, Binnia Shaquil is by Binnia Impressive Destiny. ID won 7 ABCRA Horse of the Year titles, including 4 Open Horse. Shaquil is out of Jabell Shekera Spin, who won numerous Open campdrafts including the Landmark Masters and the cut out in the Warwick Gold Cup. She was also ABCRA Open Horse of the Year. Both Shekera and ID have also won the World Championship Campdraft at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Shaquil himself is an Open Horse, in May 2024 he won the Geurie Golden Bit Open. In 2022 he won the cut out in the Chinchilla Grandfather Clock out of over 500 horses when he was still a maiden.

🎶 BLUETOONZ 🎶 scored 91 points in the second round of the Open at Willinga at Juandah Plains last week, to place second out of 419 horses. She also scored 89.5 in the Restricted Open, winning the cut out from 145 Open horses, scoring 23.5.

What an impressive first day of Campdrafting here at the 2024 The Australian Stock Horse Society Campdraft Championships in Gundy!
Some big runs on the board with a great line of cattle supplied by Tulla Tulla Beef.

Here’s Wyatt Young on the beautiful black mare, Binnia Milan in yesterday’s Mare Campdraft. This mare is always a favourite of mine to photograph, she is so expressive! A little unlucky in yesterday’s final but nonetheless this mare is one of the superstars of Campdrafting!

We’re about to kick off day 2 at 7am with Round 2 of the Maiden Series followed by the Ladies and Gelding Drafts.
