Join us for one of our favorite dog walks of the day- walking beautiful Hazel! 💚 She’s a Boston Terrier with tons of energy and she loves to cuddle (our favorite). 🥰
We start off with a happy greeting and we get her pretty pink harness on her. 💗 Then we make sure she gets her exercise, enriching sniffing, and belly rubs. She loves grass baths when it’s sunny, too. ☀️ We give her fresh water and her treat after for being the best girl. 🥹

Pssst… Your dog may be friendly, but the dog you are approaching while out on walks may be shy, fearful, not friendly to dogs, or in training.
It’s a little too common for people to see us walking a dog in their neighborhood and ✨insist✨on bringing their own dog over to make friends. Not demure. 😩
We will avoid you- please don’t take it personally! We avoid ALL encounters with strange, unknown dogs if possible. Not every dog wants to socialize with other dogs. And we walk shy dogs and dogs who really don’t like other dogs. On-leash encounters can be pretty stressful and fraught. We’re here to take care of our clients’ dogs and keep them safe on walks- and that keeps your dog safe, as well.
Our dog walkers stay alert for and away from off-leash dogs running at us, or unknown dogs straining to greet our clients’ pups while on leash. You’ll only hear us say scram (as politely as possible) if you keep walking towards us insisting your dog is nice and everyone loves him, or trying to follow us when we walk away from you. (Please don’t do that.)

Ever wondered what a morning pet-sitting visit looks like? 🐾 ☀️🐾 Join Cori and Lina as they care for Wesley the kitty and Bobo, our fluffy golden retriever friend! This adorable duo always brightens our day—Bobo is the sweetest, and Wesley is just too handsome! 😻
Thanks to mild weather, Bobo enjoyed a game of catch and a light jog with Cori, working up an appetite for breakfast. 🍳 We used a slow feeder for Bobo to make sure he enjoys his meal safely. 💚 Wesley got his breakfast and plenty of cuddles too! Of course, we always wash the bowls—just like us, pets deserve clean dishes every time. 🧼 (Also- Wesley sometimes joins Bobo on his walks. Too cute! 🐈⬛ 🥰)
Cuddles are the perfect way to end each visit! We’re lucky enough to see Bobo and Wesley three times a day when their parents are on vacation, and sometimes we even get to have sleepovers with him—it’s pure heaven, and it keeps Bobo comfortable with a regular potty schedule and the regular company he’s used to. ☀️💚

We had a wonderful afternoon attending the South Miami K-9 swearing-in ceremony for Officer Ace. It was such a special moment to see him officially join the force, and we’re thrilled some of our furry friends like Django ( one of @happy.with.dogs sweet mascots), Bimini, @pulgathe_pug @mitzwillow Boots and @minie_muu could be there to celebrate with us! A little about K9 Officer Ace! Office Ace, assigned to handler Corporal Charles Morejon, brings impressive skills like explosives detection to the South Miami Police Department. We wish him nothing but peaceful days of service and lots of treats along the way! 🐾👮♂️

Also! Our friends Aileen and Mary represented the Customs and Border Protection Agriculture K9 division with Agriculture Detector Beagles. They’re part of the Beagle Brigade, which looks for prohibited fruits, vegetables, plants, and meats that may be coming in from other countries, keeping us safe from insects and diseases that can be harmful to United States Agriculture.
They gifted K9 Ace two special coins from their department. One coin was donated by Customs and Border Protection Drug K9 division and the other coin was donated by Customs and Border Protection Agriculture K9 Miami Beagle Brigade. Aileen says, “The coin actually started as a military act of membership or belonging. When you give a challenge coin it’s like a sign of acknowledgement of a job well done , a thank you for support or a sign of appreciation.” 💚 It was such a sweet gesture. 🥰

Equipaws Kitty Spotlight: Chloe!
All of our team members have the cutest pets, and we just had to share Chloe, our office coordinator Alex’s awesome kitty- especially when she showed us how much Chloe loves cat TV on YouTube. 😻
Alex says, “She gets obsessed with things and ever since I started playing cat tv for her she sits on that piece of furniture and looks at me, looks at the tv, then back at me and so on and so forth until I turn it on for her. 🤣”

Adopted by pet parent Alex (our amazing office coordinator) when she was just 2 months old, Chloe is a true momma’s girl at heart. ♥️ This little huntress is equal parts sassy and playful. When she’s not practicing her stealthy moves, she can be found loafing on her heating pad on the couch. She is very vocal and loves to cuddle as well. She loves being brushed and will purr up a storm! Don’t get too close to mom though, this little lady can be quite possessive and territorial too. 😤

❗️𝐍𝐨𝐰’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🇺🇸❗️💥 July 4th and 5th are some of the busiest days in animal shelters and vet clinics. 💔 The fireworks stress dogs out and make pets more likely to bolt in fear. 😔 Please follow these tips to keep them safe this Independence Day!
* Check your dog’s collar for ID tags, ensure they’re microchipped, & make sure your dog’s collars and harnesses fit well.
* Secure your yard (close any holes) and your gates before going out to the backyard
* Supervise your dogs and keep them on a leash AT ALL times when you’re outdoors or in the backyard.
* Please don’t take your dogs to fireworks displays if they’re afraid of them.
* Miamians set off fireworks early, so exercise your dogs more intensely early in the day.
* Don’t walk dogs during fireworks- take them to their backyard for a quick potty/poop break then back in.
* Bring in your outdoor cats
* Create a safe space for your dogs and cats to retire to with treats, Kongs, and toys
* Turn on the TV, radio, or Alexa to help drown out the loud fireworks, and close your curtains when you notice fireworks
* If your pet is scared of noises, now‘s the time to talk to your vet about medications. Rescue Remedy and CBD Oil work for some, but vets can provide something stronger if needed.
* Stay with them instead of going out. Your presence and tons of cuddles will help more than you know. 💚
