Feeling fresh after a weekend bath 💦

Update: Moose continues his fight with degenerative myelopathy. His back legs are becoming weaker and unsteady. With the help of over the last 9 months, I feel certain that we’ve extended his life and managed the symptoms in the best possible way.

The Important Part - Moose is happy, not in pain and living his best life this summer with us. We take our daily walks, play in the backyard and spend time together in my office while I work. We have been blessed to have him with us for nearly 13 years - a double life for a Bernese mountain dog. I will never lose sight of that 🩵

When you reach double digits, you celebrate half birthdays too! 🎂

Moose turned 12.5 today and to say we are blessed, is an understatement!

We’ve been a bit absent on here lately, but wanted to check in to let everyone know Moose is doing well and continuing to kick degenerative myelopathy’s butt. With the help of our friend at Moose has transitioned to a whole food diet, successfully without disturbing his IBD, incorporated supplements and herbs in to his daily regimen as well as physical therapy at home exercises and acupuncture.
