Horsebeads Beaded Horse Tack and Accessories. Owned/Founded by Katja Korsch The tack used is Weaver or a brand of equal quality, American made tack.

Using the finest quality glass seed beads, each piece is hand-woven with meticulous attention to detail, then sewn with extremely strong non-rotting nylon thread onto an ultrasuede backing which is washable for easy care. The leather is butter-soft with an already broken-in feel. These pieces of tack are meant to be beautiful and showy, yet stand up to everyday use. There are an average of 3,500 t

o 4,000 beads on a bridle. Since these are all hand-woven by a human being, occasionally a bead of the wrong color is strung on by accident. In keeping with the tradition of the Native Americans, these wrong-colored beads are not removed, but left on the piece for good luck. They are called “Spirit Beads.” Not every piece will have one. If you are lucky, yours will! In addition to horse tack, I can also make coordinating pieces for you or your favorite dog! Hatbands, belts, dog collars, hair barrettes, bracelets… just to name a few!
