🚨🚨EMERGENCY FOSTER APPEAL 🚨🚨

Another day, Another emergency 😭

We are really struggling with the amount of dogs that need help. We really need fosters urgently 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This little girl is the latest emergency. She is currently in one of the pounds and we were only made aware of her yesterday but the warden is putting the pressure on so we need to get her as soon as possible.
We have very little information about her, just that she is a young female and seems ok with other dogs.
We think she could live with a neutered male and dog savvy children.
Usual home check applies.

‼️KIA NEEDS YOUR HELP ‼️

Kia’s situation has become more urgent, she now needs to move by Sunday 🙏🏻

Little Kia is a 7 month old Akita cross, although she is a very small little girl. She went into a temporary foster home for the Christmas holidays, but unfortunately she has to move on soon as she is not getting along with the resident female.

🙏🏻 Kia really needs a new foster or forever home as soon as possible 🙏🏻

✨ Kia could live with a playful male dog pending a meet & greet, she could also do well as an only dog
✨Kia is an energetic girl and is still working hard on her training. She needs an active family who will make sure she gets her daily walks and can continue her training.
✨Kia could live with older, dog savvy children. She is very bouncy and might knock over small kids.
✨ Kia currently lives with cats and is fine with them
✨Kia needs a fully enclosed garden
✨ Kia must live inside the home

Husky rescue Ireland needs to move!

We have very little volunteers due to how far away we are which makes it very tough for Andy doing the brunt of everything!

The premises aren’t ours and it’s come to a point where the basics are just not working and we need better for the dogs especially in this weather. We need a proper place for these dogs with the facilities that will improve their life at the rescue.

Hi, my name is Akiro 🐕 I am a 7 year old husky and I am looking for my forever home, I have been waiting a long time🏡

I love my walks but I also love to chill out on a comfy couch. I am a curious boy and will follow my humans all over the house watching what they are up to and hoping I get the odd ear scratch along the way 😎

I might like the company of a spayed female, but I would also be quite happy to live as an only dog. I could live with older children who are dog savvy.

Outside living is not for me, so I will only go to a home that I can live inside and be part of the family. I am a husky, so I need a fully enclosed garden with 6ft fences to prevent me from escaping 🤪

Hi there! We’re Ralph and Ryker, two best friends searching for our forever home—hopefully together! We’ve been at the centre for 6 months now. We love the volunteers, but we would also really love a home to call our own 🏡

🐾 I’m Ryker, a 9-year-old male Husky Cross. I’m a laid-back, confident boy who adores people. I’m great at listening to my humans and following their cues. I love my walks and spending quality time with my buddy Ralph.

🐾 I’m Ralph, a 9-year-old male Akita. I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but that’s just because I’m a big softy at heart. Once I warm up to you, I’ll be your loyal companion, and you’ll see my sweet, gentle side. Having Ryker around helps me feel more comfortable, so I’m really hoping we can find a home together.

🐾 What we’re looking for:
• A home where we can be the only pets (though we might do well with a spayed female dog after a meet and greet).
• Older, dog-savvy children

We urgently need two separate foster homes for these two 🙏🏻

Little Evie is a frenchie/staffie cross. She’s 14 months old and is best suited in a home with a large neutered male or as an only dog. She could live with older dog savvy children. We don’t know how she would be with cats.

Anto is a 3 year old husky boy. He is a very friendly boy so could live with other dogs pending a meet and greet. He could also live with dog savvy children.

🐾💙 BEAR 💙🐾

Hi there, I’m Bear! I’m a 7-year-old male Akita, and I’ve been here at the centre far too long, in fact I’m one of the longest here!

’ve been told I’m quite the character. Like most Akitas, I have my typical traits, but I’ve also got my own special quirks that make me one of a kind. I’m a gentle soul at heart, though I can be a little cautious around strangers at first. Don’t worry—it doesn’t take me long to warm up and let my playful side shine through.

I’m a confident and independent boy, and I like to spend time in my own company now and then. At the centre, my favorite spot is the trampoline, where I can relax and watch the world go by—it’s so peaceful up there! When it comes to walking, I’m an absolute dream. You’d hardly notice my size because I’m so easygoing on the lead. And let’s not forget playtime—I love a good game of chase or hide and seek.

I’d prefer to be the only dog in my new home, and I’m not a fan of cats. I need a garden that’s fully secure, but no outdoor living for me please, I have to live inside with my new family. The dogs here at husky rescue Ireland had the best time playing in the snow today❄️🐾

🔥 They are all nice and cosy now, indoors at the centre for the night.

🙏🏻 Please, please don’t leave your dogs outside in this weather. Please bring them inside and keep them safe so that they can have some more fun tomorrow🐾

💕 Home sweet home 💕

The lovely Willow has found herself a 5*home with Emma and family, a match made in heaven.
First Christmas at home with her family and her little brother and sister who she just adores, if the baby lifts out a toy then so does Willow, she’s so well behaved abd she could not be any happier with her new life 🐾

Ted is a lovable male Akita and Rottweiler cross. Ted just turned 3 years old on Christmas Day, and for almost 2 of those years, he has been here, at the rescue 🥹

Ted is a big-hearted goofball who is very friendly and full of energy. Despite his size, he’s still a playful pup at heart and will need ongoing training to help him mature into his best self.

Ted loves going for walks, though he’s currently working on overcoming a fear of traffic. Because of his size and energy, he’s best suited to an experienced owner familiar with his breeds or other large dogs. His ideal home would include adults and older teenagers, as well as a secure garden with fencing at least 5 feet high.

Ted would thrive as the only dog in the household and is not suited to living with cats. He must live and sleep indoors as a cherished member of the family.

I’m Fifi, an 8-year-old Akita Cross with a heart full of love to give ♥️ I’ve been at Husky Rescue Ireland for nearly 3 years now, patiently waiting for my forever home while watching other dogs come and go. It’s tough, but I know my special person is out there! 💔

I’m a super friendly, affectionate girl who adores the volunteers here, and they love me too! I am the sweetest girl and once you meet me, there is no doubt that you’ll fall in love. 🥰

I enjoy my walks and am well-behaved on the lead, but I’m not a fan of busy areas like cities. I’d prefer a quieter environment, such as a peaceful countryside home or I could live in a small town with a nice park or forest nearby for my walks. I’m all about calm and serenity!

I’d be happiest as the only dog in the house. I also don’t get along with cats, but I would be fantastic with older, dog-savvy children who understand my needs.
