Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep.

Twitter user Jesse Dietrich asked a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.

The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep.

The fact is that 90% of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal.

People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.

Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end.
"It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life.

Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them."

Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like.

It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life.

They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner's consolation.

Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you.

Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake.
Be with them until the end.🐾🐾🐾

On Sunday night our dog Remi was bit or stung by something.. we sadly still don’t know what.. she was vomiting and had hives. We did like most pet owners and gave her Benadryl.. .sadly she quickly turned for the worst. 2:45 in the morning we rushed her to the emergency clinic in Mishawaka. When she arrived her pupils were nonresponsive and she was experiencing tremors. They quickly rushed her away and got her hooked up to IV and on meds. Her glucose level when we arrived was only 36 and her liver and kidneys were compromised.
By 6 AM she had stabilized, but was not out of the woods. At 7:30 we had to transport her to another vet clinic. She spent the day there and was able to come home that evening❤️❤️
She is now recovering well at home and we are so thankful we did not lose her..

For three days I’ve been trying to figure out what went wrong and why she reacted to the Benadryl the way she did.. with the help of Dr. Brown from Fedore Vet Clinic we realized the liquid gelcaps Benadryl that I gave her had ingredients that are toxic to dogs. You’ve all heard that people say artificial sweeteners are bad and are fatal for them, well the Benadryl allergy liquid gelcaps have this in them....

Please share so other owners are aware that the Benadryl allergy liquid gelcaps cannot be given to dogs!!!

Found in gum, peanut butter, jams, pop AND Benadryl Gel Caps!!
It's killing dogs but there is no warnings on labels.
It's up to the dog community to spread the word

HONNEYBEE'S are our friends....... Friends and family, It's honeybee swarm season! If you come upon a swarm of bees like this, there is no need to be alarmed. They are simply hanging out until they find a new home. Typically while they are balled up like this they are very docile and pose very little threat to people. Please DO NOT spray them with bug killer! If you're concerned and want them removed, I will happily give them a new home, otherwise they will leave on their own within the next few days or so.

Homemade Frosty Paws.
It's getting warm and our pups love Frosty Paws.

Recipe below ⬇️

2 cups low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 1/2 cups water
1 ripe banana
3 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter

Put all in blender. Pour into containers. Freeze.
You can substitute any of the ingredients to suit your pets needs. Not all dogs can eat what my fur brats eat. But the idea is to create a cool and refreshing treat for your best friend. Watch and make sure whatever you are using does not have sugar substitutes as many our unhealthy for our pets.

My Sylvester......Living with a very old dog means feeling your heart speeding up every time you see them a little more stiller than usual and approaching with the fear that they have stopped breathing.

Living with a very old dog means being aware that some of the things you'll do together may be the last.

Living with a very old dog means thinking ′′ this is their last summer ", ′′ this is their last August ", ′′ This could be the last morning".

Living with a very old dog means they bark at any noise at any time, not because they know what they are barking at, it is they feel they need to bark and let us know.

Living with a very old dog means, you have to lift them up into the truck, the bed, the couch, the stairs.

Living with a very old dog means putting off commitments because it's important to be close to them.

Living with an old dog means we trip over them because they are so sound asleep they don't hear us approaching them.

Living with an old dog means accidents in the house, it's ok they don't mean to do it.

Living with a very old dog means feeling guilty because you know you could have done more, giving them more runs, more travel, more hugs, more caresses, more everything.

I would like to say that living with a very old dog also puts us in the face of our own death, fragility, vulnerability.

Living with a very old dog means we got to experience life with a very old dog, which is one of the best joys on earth!
