Eloise-3 month old spayed female

Little Eloise is all dressed up in her tux with nowhere to go!

About a month ago we received an urgent plea to help a kitten in very poor condition. When we arrived to get the kitten, we knew the situation was dire as the poor baby was in horrible shape. As we were loading her up we heard a small cry from the bushes and out popped our little Eloise! We had no idea there was a second kitten and almost left without her! But Eloise cried out as if to say “Hey wait for me! That’s my sister!”. Unfortunately, it was too late for Eloise’s sister, and we lost her the next day 😔 We like to think that in a way her purpose was to save Eloise who may have never been found if we hadn’t been called to help.

Eloise is a little shy at first but gets braver every day! She has such a sweet little spirit and a beautiful purr to match. She loves her pets and scratches! She would do best in a home with other cats because although she loves her foster mom, she absolutely adores her foster kitty friends! We think she would probably get pretty lonely by herself. If you think you would like to add this precious baby to your family please let us know!

Twix was found by a kind hearted man in the parking lot of Sam’s Club when she was less than 2 weeks old, her eyes barely open. She was bottle fed and raised with 2 other orphans. She’s a very busy kitten, always looking for fun, but likes to snuggle with other kitties or humans for a nap. She does need a home with another cat or maybe even a cat-loving dog because she gets bored otherwise (no experience with dogs but kittens adapt quickly). Let us know if you need this precious baby in your life!!

Twix’s adoption fee is $75 and she is spayed, negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.

Lonely and Forgotten 💔

Winnie has been waiting with us for nearly 6 months! She is a beautiful, tiny, sweet soul who so desperately wants a home of her own! And she deserves it!! She originally came to us very sick from a home overcrowded with cats. She has been adopted and returned TWICE because the other cats in the home didn’t immediately accept her…....which is normal! Cats often take a few weeks (sometimes a few months) to adjust to having a new friend. Winnie lives in a foster home with other cats and gets along with them just fine. It takes a little patience, but it is well worth it. Winnie is worth it! She can be a little reserved at first. I mean the girl has had a hard go of it. Can you blame her!? But once she knows you’re going to stick around she is so so so loving and sweet! She is about 2 years old so she mostly just likes to hang out on the couch with you for cuddles. But she does still have her playful moments when her eyes just light up with excitement as she zooms around the room. She really is one of our favorite girls which is why watching her wait absolutely breaks our hearts! She wants a HOME!! She deserves a FAMILY!!

We need money! Kitten season is rough right now, we have so many kittens to feed, vet, take care of… every single one has to be fixed, triple tested, and vaccinated. We also have some that require more surgeries (eye issues, leg issues). On top of that, we are doing TNR as much as possible to try and slow down this vicious cycle.

The shelters are full. Cats are being euthanized for space. The streets are full. Cats are dying of heatstroke, illness and injury. There are cats EVERYWHERE and they are suffering. People want to know why we can’t take more….why we can’t help more!? And yes we don’t have enough fosters….but more than that we don’t have enough adopters!!! We can’t take more cats when people don’t seem to want the ones we already have 😞

And we know some of you already have 3, 4, 5+ cats at home. We love you and are right there with you. If you can’t adopt please share! Please network! Winnie seems to be quite unlucky!

She’s been returned twice now 😩😭 (other cat didn’t like her). Not to mention the place where she came from was not the best of conditions…

Winnie keeps waiting!!! She really needs a home of her own. It’s always hard to find homes for adult cats during kitten season.

Winnie is petite (maybe 5-6 lbs), spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She’s about 1-2 years old, still young enough to be playful. She has done fine with other cats, but loves cuddling with people and can get jealous of other cats stealing the cuddles... so she would not mind being the only cat in the home. 😽

We thought our sweet KitKat had found his forever home but instead he was stood up. Someone applied to adopt him and scheduled a time to bring our boy home…..but then they never showed 💔

If you change your mind after scheduling a meet and greet/adoption it is OKAY to cancel! However, ghosting and no showing is disrespectful to us and our cats.

Rue

Rue is such a precious baby! She was brought into BCAC with a tail injury so all but about 1 inch of her tail had to be amputated. Although we are so sad that she was injured it has left her with the cutest little bobtail 🥹 Rue loves to play! Like this girl is obsessed with her toys! She also likes sitting in the window and watching the world outside. It really seems to fascinate her! Rue loves being pet, cuddled and held! As long as you are holding her comfortably, she will let you carry her around until…..well until she’s ready to play again lol! Because of past traumas she can be a little timid at first but the second you scoop her up those kitten purrs start right up❤️

Everyone meet Meg! She was dumped at the Emergency Vet earlier this week and with no one to take responsibility for her they asked for our help. Even though we are more than full we just couldn’t say no! Not when she so clearly needed us. Meg will require lots of antibiotics to stave off infection and will eventually have to have her eye completely removed once she bigger and stronger 😞 After that our one eyed Meg will feel much better!

With there being no end in sight to this kitten season we are running low on funds so anything you guys can do to help is greatly appreciated! Rescue on and stayed tuned for updates on Meg ❤️

We are always looking for more fosters! Whether it’s adult cats or kittens- we can only take in so many cats total since we work out of foster homes. We will supply food and litter (if desired) and we pay for vetting.
