Galloping Gourmet is about baking delicious, natural and healthy treats for your horse. I regularly bake homemade treats for my dogs and came up with the idea for my horse bars after discovering the lack of healthy, tasty treats available in Dubai. I have combined my baking knowledge (I have been baking, designing and decorating celebration cakes for over 20 years) along with my 30 something years
of working with, managing, training, competing and owning horses to come up with my Gourmet Bars! I believe in using the best possible ingredients, whether this be for my two legged customers or my discerning four legged customers and so far my treats have received a definite thumbs (or hooves!) up. My bars are freshly baked and can be kept in the fridge for up to two weeks or frozen. I recommend freezing your bars as soon as you get them to ensure you have the freshest, tastiest bars which can be removed from the freezer just before you head off to see your four legged friend. They defrost very quickly due to the low moisture content in them. If you would like to order some bars please just leave me a message on here or call me on 050-4276854. I bake fairly regularly so I usually have bars available but I am happy to bake a batch freshly for you if you require ten or more bars. Ginger is very beneficial to a horses digestion and I use it in all of my bars. I also make my own Turmeric paste with coconut oil and black pepper and also add it to my bars (this paste is very beneficial to horses and humans alike but its especially helpful to horses with joint problems.) I love baking with ingredients such as seeds like sunflower and flax and dried fruits like figs, apricots and dates. I regularly bake new flavours and use different seeds, fruits and grains in my bars. Once Galloping Gourmet chief taste tester Boris give the thumbs (or hooves) up then they're up and running for production. if anyone has a special flavour request for their horses for either medicinal reasons or just because its their horses favourite then I am also happy to customise a flavour for them! There is a final word of warning though: Galloping Gourmet bars ARE a delicious treat for your horse and your horse WILL fall in love with these bars. They are more addictive than carrots, apples or even mints....
Don't say I didn't warn you!
