The Love for Cats is the passion project of Founder and Editor, Eric Miller. He’s the man behind all of the bundles of cuteness you see throughout our site. He’s as manly as they come, but turns into the likes of a star-struck teen when he sees cute kitties of all colors, shapes and sizes. Inspired by his childhood on to adulthood, growing up in sunny Southern California, he always adored cats, fe
eding strays lunch meat and milk (he's grown to learn that this isn't the most ideal diet for cats) as a kid until his parents finally allowed him to have a cat of his own. He started out with a precious white American Shorthair that was appropriately named Precious. From that moment, Eric’s infatuations with cats grew even stronger as Precious came to be the purrrfect cat. As time moved along, he went on to also own a Longhair named Fluffy and a Black Bombay named Black Jack. Curious about each of his cats various mannerisms, habits, and, health, Eric decided to research all things cat. Becoming enthralled by his findings, he was anxious to learn more. That’s when The Love for Cats was born. Thanks to word of mouth and social media, his online magazine and shop went from being his little pet project to something that the craziest of cat ladies, cat cult followers, and of course, manly cat lovers alike can appreciate.
