Happy cat sanctuary would like to wish all of our supporters a happy new year!!

As of 2025 starting at 12:01 we will no longer be posting any more negativity or mentions of the crazy people who only look to start trouble . We are going to concentrate on our new sanctuary from this point on and look forward to updating everybody on the progress and finishing the first new barn Up State!

Can everybody please wait until the barn is finished before you ask all these questions ,we are not going to just throw the cats in an open area. We going to do for them just like we have done for them here at happy cat sanctuary on Long Island. they will have a beautiful Set up with everything that they need including safety and outside area.

We can’t just blink our eyes and it’ be done. We are going one step at a time so please wait for the finish barn before asking all these questions.

Look what we did for 25 cats in a temporary space so just imagine what we will do in a permanent space and a bigger much bigger in size .

Happy cat sanctuary is one step away from completing our first big barn!!

All we need now is to get the walls put in and we’re hoping to do that within the next two weeks and hopefully Christmas will bring a completed cat barn and start bringing up some of our feral cats !!

25 cats stuck in cages with nowhere to go.

OK, so for those of you who do not know the story regarding these cats that are now in this small one window barn that is supposed to be used later on for cages for any cats that may need to be isolated or sick ,we are now using it temporarily for these 25 cats that had nowhere to go and had been stuck in cages for over four months and nobody would help ,so happy cat sanctuary stepped up and rushed to finish this small barn to help these cats temporarily in this space until they will then be moved over to the bigger barn, which eventually will have an outside area we are right now concentrating on building the barns and then in the spring and summer we will build outside areas for each barn .

Everything will be enclosed, and no cats will be exposed to any wild life.

Some people judge right away and say the stupidest stuff but I understand it’s social media and it’s just what some people do ! lol 😝

Happy cat sanctuary’s amazing supporters come through once again!!!

Just in the nick of time since we are going upstate this weekend to organize the first competed barn for Cats to then be transported Up State next weekend !

We purchased a slew of cat nests for the new Sanctuary Up-state they have been put together, and are in the 1st barn awaiting pillows. We are asking for donations of the cat nest pillows for up-state. If you can please go to our Amazon wish list (link below) the pillows are on there. Thank you if you donated in the past and thank you if you can donate toward the upstate nest pillows. Amazon wish list will send to Medford address- they will be brought upstate on one of the next trip/s up there.

Happy cat sanctuary is so happy to announce the adopting out of two of our 8 kittens born and cared for by one amazing mommy and even better news of 4 more of the eight kittens that will be going out in pairs as well going to their forever homes soon!

Leaving only two left!

We are hopeful that the last two that are still up for adoption will pair as well.

These kittens have become the most amazing and sweetest kittens we’ve ever seen after being skittish in the beginning .
