We had our first lesson in scent work.
She did amazing. She found the treats in the box fast. I think she likes it.❤️🐾

Dang, dang dang…sorry it took so long to post….
I had an ultrasound on my girl Lila yesterday to see if she had puppies. The ultrasound showed no puppies. This was a disappointment. I wanted to have puppies in the house again…
We will try again for another planned breeding in 6 months.
Now to have fun showing Lila at a few dog shows before winter.
I love this sweet girls. 🐾

It’s a beautiful morning to sitting on my deck drinking tea with my girls RiverRose and Lila. Next week Wednesday (7-24) Lila has her ultrasound to see if she has pups in her tummy. I have my fingers crossed.

It was a beautiful day to do a planned breeding with my girl Lila and her boyfriend Frodo. It was so much easier this time on this beautiful sunny summer day instead of below 0 degrees and 2 feet of snow on the ground.
I will have an ultra sound done in 30 day to see if Lila has puppies in her tummy.
I have my fingers cross.

Yesterday I went to a Barn Hunt seminar with my girl Lila. It was a blast. I learned the rules of the sport. Lila was introduced to a rat in a small cage. She had to hunt for a live rat in a PVC tube stuffed in bales of hay. The course is 20’x20’. With a about 20 bales in the ring. She has to go through a hey bale tunnel, climb up on bales and find the rat in the tube. She has 2 minutes to do these 3 things. She did it in 56 seconds. I thought that was pretty good for her first time. She had so much fun hunting for the rat. I think we are hooked on this sport. The rats do not get hurt🐾
