288 Hartford Rd. Medford, NJ 08055.

EIN #45-5340643 Our mission is to rescue any horse in need from ending up at a slaughter facility. We are a 100% volunteer and donation based horse rescue. We save horses by going to the slaughter auctions or from famlies who can no longer keep their pets. Once we save the horse we transport them to a quarantine facility and give them any medical attentio

n they may need. Upon arrival at the rescue we work with the horse by providing love, attention, and training. Once we feel the horse is ready we begin to find them a new permanent home. At times it is difficult to find the right family because some of the horses have permant disabilities, these horses may end up as sanctuary horses at the rescue. Our volunteers spend countless hours working with the horses and the care does get expensive. Please consider donating to the rescue or attending one of our fundraising events. Rowdy, who we adopted to Donna, our friend, was attacked by two dogs..she has over 20 deep puncture wounds that were stitched or needed staples. The police are involved. Rowdy is now on the way to New Bolton Hospital. Please send prayers and good thoughts. She is in a very critical state. We saved Rowdy several years ago.

Happy Birthday to Tink. We saved her, then known as Tank, 9 years ago and Joanne adopted her. She was in Quarantine with Donna and TJ. She was frightened of humans but Joanne gained her trust and she is an amazing horse today living her best life. This is what rescue is all about!

If you love horses and veterans and if you like to fundraise or volunteer, please join us at Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue in Medford. We save horses from neglect, slaughter and cruelty cases. We have a veterans program with two therapists. We also need volunteers to put up fencing on our back 25 acres in Spring. You can go to www.forgottenangelsequine.com or text me at 609 820 6377.
