EIN #45-5340643 Our mission is to rescue any horse in need from ending up at a slaughter facility. We are a 100% volunteer and donation based horse rescue. We save horses by going to the slaughter auctions or from famlies who can no longer keep their pets. Once we save the horse we transport them to a quarantine facility and give them any medical attentio

n they may need. Upon arrival at the rescue we work with the horse by providing love, attention, and training. Once we feel the horse is ready we begin to find them a new permanent home. At times it is difficult to find the right family because some of the horses have permant disabilities, these horses may end up as sanctuary horses at the rescue. Our volunteers spend countless hours working with the horses and the care does get expensive. Please consider donating to the rescue or attending one of our fundraising events. We are so sad to let everyone know that our beloved Nellie has gained her wings. Saved from a killpen and could have been sent to Canada where Draft horses are often transported live to Japan to be slaughtered. She was loved and cared for and we had the advice of 5 veterinarians and our farrier, that the kindest thing we could do was humanely euthanize her. This is the most difficult part of Rescue and sanctuary. There are many comments from people who loved her on my private page, Darlene Macrina Supnick.

ABE IS! 🩷 ADOPT THIS GUY HE IS ONE OF THE FAVORITES HERE…
Abe is very easygoing, a dream trail buddy, he leads easily, crossties, loads and trailers, has a very nice trot and breaks into the canter and can use a little more work to keep that gait but he is so worth a couple of more lessons!
Abe is about 15.1 and 17 yrs old.

We saved Cleo 4 years ago from a neglectful situation. She was adopted and we thought she might survive for a year due to a huge hernia that was never addressed by her original owners. Her new owner had to move to Florida. It is time to euthanize and have Cleo buried. We are trying to help her elderly owner with funds.
