Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization all breed horse rescue located at
288 Hartford Rd. Medford, NJ 08055.

EIN #45-5340643 Our mission is to rescue any horse in need from ending up at a slaughter facility. We are a 100% volunteer and donation based horse rescue. We save horses by going to the slaughter auctions or from famlies who can no longer keep their pets. Once we save the horse we transport them to a quarantine facility and give them any medical attentio

n they may need. Upon arrival at the rescue we work with the horse by providing love, attention, and training. Once we feel the horse is ready we begin to find them a new permanent home. At times it is difficult to find the right family because some of the horses have permant disabilities, these horses may end up as sanctuary horses at the rescue. Our volunteers spend countless hours working with the horses and the care does get expensive. Please consider donating to the rescue or attending one of our fundraising events. So honored to honor a United States Army Veteran with our FOX 29 You’re Awesome Award Veterans Edition on Veterans Day!! Michelle Ferran served our country bravely from 2009-2013. She was stationed in Afghanistan from 2011-2012 and was honorably discharged after being injured during combat. She credits a horse therapy program at Forgotten Angels Equine Rescue with saving her life when she came home. Today she volunteers there and is an integral part of the rescue. Just one of the many reasons Michelle Ferran is AWESOME. Watch Michelle’s story tonight on the 10 O’clock News.
