EIN #45-5340643 Our mission is to rescue any horse in need from ending up at a slaughter facility. We are a 100% volunteer and donation based horse rescue. We save horses by going to the slaughter auctions or from famlies who can no longer keep their pets. Once we save the horse we transport them to a quarantine facility and give them any medical attentio

n they may need. Upon arrival at the rescue we work with the horse by providing love, attention, and training. Once we feel the horse is ready we begin to find them a new permanent home. At times it is difficult to find the right family because some of the horses have permant disabilities, these horses may end up as sanctuary horses at the rescue. Our volunteers spend countless hours working with the horses and the care does get expensive. Please consider donating to the rescue or attending one of our fundraising events. We have been saving horses since 2015 and running a veterans with horses program. We could use some help right now with horse wormer, fly boots and shavings from Tractor Supply. Everyone begs us to save the horses but once we do, then the help stops. We took in 3 we did not expect to add to the herd and could use some help. So many rescues for horses, dogs, wildlife, farm animals are closing due to the economy. Please help a rescue, if not us, any rescue. We are all in trouble!

Slaughter doesn’t just take the “unwanted” or the “sick.” It swallows the used, the young, the newborn, the elite. It doesn’t discriminate—it just consumes.

Tessie served an Amish family for 12 years. When she couldn’t pull hills anymore, they dumped her at auction—pregnant. No one knew. Not even us. But we outbid the kill buyer, and months later, Grace was born into safety instead of ground up for meat.

Luna and Dolce? No backstory. No paperwork. Just two terrified souls dumped in a kill pen—Luna barely five or six years old, already protecting her baby like the world was on fire. Dolce was only weeks old with a severly wounded leg. They tried to send her the other way. We said, “Hell no.”

And Little Pea—descendant of champions. The daughter of a Kentucky Derby winner, dumped when the breeding farm collapsed. Royal blood didn’t save her. Only intervention did.

Five horses. Five different worlds.
One brutal system.

This is why slaughter has to stop.
It doesn’t just kill the weak.
It kills the faithful. The young. The famous. The newborn.
It kills because it’s easy. Because it’s legal. Because most people don’t look.

Well—look now.

These lives weren’t saved by luck.
They were saved because Unbridled Sanctuary refused to let the system win.
