Recruiting Foster Carers for Cats

Would you like to be the person who plays the most important role, in getting some amazing cats a forever home and new life? If so we need people to foster some cats who are just not friendly enough to appeal to the public. Examples include this Scottish fold, who within less than a month of love bombing would be ready to charm the world. Others like Heavenly are shyer and may require many months less intense handling and confidence raising, to give them a chance of a caring family to live with.

If being a life changer is of interest to you, please call WLPA on 9817 4892 or email [email protected] so we can answer any questions you may have. WLPA can supply all equipment you need and covers all reasonable vet expenses.

Possum Reunited with her Family

Thank you to all who publicised the plight of Possum. Her family have returned from holiday and after a frantic search, found her safely here at WLPA. The cat sitter who had been looking after Possum let her go outside, where she was found by a member of the public and taken to the local vet. Her entry on the Pet Registry is being updated and she is off to enjoy a weekend of spoiling inside.
We enjoyed having you here and wish you and your family well

Do you know pretty Possum?

Possum was found by a member of the public and taken to a vet in Darlinghurst. The staff there publicised her photo locally and had no response. Her ‘owner’ had not updated their details in the NSW Pet Registry so cannot be contacted that way Do you know her? She is a friendly young lady who I am sure would like to go home a.s.a.p. If you have any information please email WLPA [email protected] or call 9817 4892 on any days apart from Thursday.

Thanks to the staff at Darlinghurst and Double Bay Vet HQ who looked after her initially
