As a grooming salon manager, you administer the overall operations of a pet salon. You hire, train, and supervise all dog groomers and salon employees, ensuring they complete all training requirements and maintain safety standards provided by the company.
You offer ongoing learning opportunities and evaluate pet styling and grooming jobs to maintain a high quality of service. Other responsibilities include performing grooming services yourself, conforming to client requests and meeting needs for specific breeds while ensuring all hired groomers follow the same standards. Additional duties include guaranteeing the safety and well-being of pets and employees and solving issues quickly and calmly.
You keep records of client services and oversee salon cleanliness and maintenance.
You make sure that every dog is groomed in a timely manner and to the exact instructions given by the owner.
