Update: François is still missing. Last seen Sunday December 15, 2024 from Alexandria VA 22309. GREEN INDIAN RING NECK PARAKEET, male with black and orange neck ring. He is very friendly, likes to chat a lot, and will step up on a dowel. We miss him so much! Please contact me asap!

Message from Finder: This pretty kitty looks like a Persian or Himalayan breed, definitely not like the stays I’ve seen. I think it’s someone’s lost pet.

Description: Timid black/brown fluffy kitty appears to be staying underneath my porch. First seen on 1/1 at 6AM and since then has been eating the wet and dry cat food I put out for it. Kitty retreats from me so I don’t want to scare it off. Kitty looks like a lost pet with a really thick scruffy coat, so has been outside for a while. I’m putting a heated cat hse outside today hoping kitty will take shelter from the cold. Otherwise, I could use some help trapping kitty if anyone is available in Annandale. Kitty is roaming around a few neighboring yards when not under my porch.
