Here's another shout out to a handling class student team. This is Luke (Norwich Terrier) and his breeder/owner/handler Linda. Luke was the Owner Handled Terrier Group 1 winner at Harrisburg last week (on Wednesday), so he got to strut his stuff in the OHBIS ring. Way to go!!!

Good morning everyone.

Today we are back to more (belated) puppy cuteness.

This is Chicklin with her pups, who were born on January 10. Geez, I remember Chicklin when she was a ball of fluffy puppy herself. Where did the time go?

Today we give a quick shoutout to one of our handling class student teams.

On Friday (in Harrisburg), Enzo won BOB against a class female and two specials for 2 points. On Saturday, he also won BOB against a class female and 3 specials for a 3-point major!

Way to go Enzo and Diane!

Today we start to play catch up by featuring our girl Lucy's pups, who were born on January 2 of this year. These photos were taken when they were three weeks old, and were already starting to get into mischief!

Hello everyone,

This is Sue Bower, the FB page admin for Sanmann Kennels.

Apologies for the lack of posts recently. My recent knee replacement surgery (I'm fine, and working hard at PT) has made it tough for me to spend much time sitting in front of a computer, and going to a dog show in person hasn't been on my to-do list either.

With that said, here's an update on recent happenings with a few of our handling class students:

First, we have Spirit (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Eileen at the Celtic Cluster in York PA. See that #1? Spirit was chosen Owner-Handled Working Group 1, and they got to compete for OH Best in Show. Well done!!!

Next, there's 10-month-old Stryke, who was awarded two 3-point majors at York! He now has 13 points with 3 majors. His breeder (Barb) is very proud of this handsome boy! And so are we!

Finally, we have Banner, and Tim, who were in York Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Banner went reserve winners dog and on Saturday he went winners dog and owner-handled BOB! Banner got his first point and a chance to play in the owner-handled group ring!

Continuing with more success stories from shows at Oaks PA:

Little Tiberius has 2 blue class ribbons for puppy 6-9 months! What fun! Way to go Susan and Tiberius!

Nicole showed Finnegan in 6-9 month puppy class and Amateur Owner Handler class. It was a great experience, especially the nearly 500 pets and belly rubs for Finnegan!

Tucker had a good weekend picking up 3 points (Winners Dog Fri & Sat; Reserve Sun). He’s now 4 points away from Champion. Thanks for helping him look confident in the ring! Congratulations Doug and Tucker!

Introducing a new Grand Champion! GCh Golden Goose Signature Feather was
BOB Thursday and Friday, Group 3 on Friday, and Select Dog on Saturday. Congratulations Amy!

Quite a few of our handling class students and friends had some recent success stories that we will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.

Today, we feature two teams:

Seanan, who was Best of Winners at a specialty two weeks ago with his very proud human Patricia! Congratulations!

Next, we have Astra at Oaks last Thursday and Friday. She won her class (American Bred) both days and was a very good girl! Congratulations to Astra and Della.
