Continuing through with the original deal of hatching these nine Rhode Island Reds , dad is taking them and I’ll be getting some older girls in return.
These little ones are rose comb variety Rhode Island’s which dad hadn’t bred many for his season hence why I hatched them.

🍉The girls had their first watermelon today, I’d say it was a win! And there’s Queen Barbara stealing the spot light. She’s recently started coming up to me for pets, I’m super shocked!

I just changed their food over to an adult formula, so we’re hoping for eggs in the next month or so. We chose these specific hens for their egg colors. We should get some different brown hues, some pale blue + green!
