Mars is enjoying all the snow they received in Lithuania this week. I love to watch him bouncing around. I think he gets the award for living the farthest from Daffodil Hill.
Milo and I spent time at the garden yesterday and he played his little heart out (hence the dirty feet and massive wind blown hair). We come in and I was loading the dishwasher and had cheese in my pocket which he was very aware of. He’s doing everything he can to get some cheese! I think you can tell just how happy he is here. This puppy never has a bad day.
We got a new TV and Milo cannot understand why the puppy he sees in the old TV won’t play with him! Milo will be ready for a new home soon. We are still working on some things with him. He is doing well with potty training (with supervision) is quiet in his crate, knows sit, down, place and is learning leash skills. He is the HAPPIEST puppy! He bounces everywhere he goes tail just a wagging. He would do best in a home with older kiddos or a busy younger couple. He will flourish if he has room to run and play every day. He is not an apartment puppy. I’m afraid he will knock over younger smaller kids because he is such a playful bouncy boy. He follows me from room to room. If I stop to do a task he lays at my feet until I move to another room. He won’t let me far out of his sight. He is a velcro dog. He has no fear of bigger dogs and will chase my cats (outdoor cats) if they run. He will be a wonderful companion for someone who wants a playful puppy in an active home. He is four months old. He will be fully vaccinated and neutered before he leaves. He has no fear of kids bouncing balls, running or being loud and has been to horseback riding lessons and did amazing. He has been here with us since birth. ***He is not the same price of an 8 week old puppy with no training. His price will reflect the extra training he has had as well as all vaccines, neutering.
This is so cute! Reba is at Karen’s for board and train right now. She’s pretty irritated that Josie won’t share her toy. Listen to how ferocious she is!
Here is another video of him. He’s so smart he is starting to anticipate what I want him to do when the cheese comes out so we are having to change it up a little now. Same thing with the bed I’m using to teach him “place.” I have to put it up or all he does is go to the bed and lay down when he sees the cheese. 🤣🤣🤣
Will work for string cheese. We are finishing up our final days with Poppy. He gets to go home this weekend. It’s been a learning experience for us both as this is the first puppy I’ve held back like this and trained. We’ve had good days where he is super eager to learn and days where he is so annoyed with me. I am proud of him. His family is going to love him so much. He’s a great little puppy.
I don’t know but I think Daisy is excited when the kids get home from school. She has honeymooned with Theo and will be returning to her guardian home to grow her babies. She’s become quite comfortable here as you can tell. We can’t wait to see their babies. Due mid December, go home mid January.
It didn’t take Gracie’s babies long to figure out what belly rubs are. 🩷
Poppy (AKA Gus) is here for stay and train and is doing wonderful! He loves cheese and has a great “off” switch. He is learning to “sit to say please” as we call it which means to approach us and instead of jumping up he has to sit before he gets any attention. If he doesn’t sit he gets ignored until he does. Who hates a dog who jumps on you? 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
In case anyone is wondering how Rider is doing today.
Rider got a new toy. He’s having a great time. He just loves to play with them and hasn’t been tearing them up which I appreciate.
