I saw this today and it really hit home. I edited it with a bit of my own experience. 🥰

"WHAT ACTUALLY GOES INTO A HEALTHY PUPPY!!"🐾🩷
👉First and foremost ...healthy parents. Tested, vaccinated, vet checked, well fed, good temperament, good momma & daddy, because we all know... Life begins at time of conception.
Then:
👉Special food
👉Supplements
👉Worrying (lots of that)
👉More vet visits, ultrasound, xrays, C section possibly
👉PRAYING, Please God let them all be healthy, happy babies and momma.
👉Set up of whelping area and nursery, bedding, heat laps, gentle music, soothing lighting in a quiet secluded area, incubator, towels, Scissors, paper towels, baby wipes, rubbing alcohol for sterilization, timer, nursery camera, vet on speed dial, your "bestie"💓 ready to help at the drop of a notice, notebook, pen
👉Long day/night of whelping babies
👉Praying Lord PLEASE let mom have milk!!!!
If not, this whole scenario changes and trust me, not for the good!!!

Formula, tubing, bottles, sterilizing, feedings
Oh then the fun really begins:
👉24/7 monitoring which means ...Sleeping on the floor (oh we sleep💤😴)
👉Constantly monitoring weight. Making sure the "littles" latch on first and get full tummies before the big "piggies"🐖 (er um...puggies🤭) take all the milk, supplementing with formula when needed (see above)🍼
👉Identification collars and puppy names,
👉Cleaning
👉Washing, washing, washing 🫧
👉Cooking
👉Laundry, laundry, laundry
👉Supplements
👉More Worrying
👉Crying😭
👉Laughing 🤪
👉Making sure mom is doing fine, extra food, extra treats, extra lov'n❤️
👉And surprise you have now lasted 24 hours!!!!!!

To do it all over again
For 3 weeks!! 24/7!!!!
Praying they are all healthy 🙏
Don't forget to repeat day one!!!
👉Then we get to start contacting people on the waiting list with "Congratulations!"😃👍
