Painted K Catahoulas CERTIFIED NALC CATAHOULAS IN OAK HARBOR WA With some training and love put into him, he is my dog, he won't leave my side and is my shadow. They need a job!

We started out with just one Catahoula named Ella in 2008, we had know idea that one dog would start an obsession with the breed. We didn't live on a farm at the time and knew the dogs needed exercise, I kept horses at my parents 7 acre farm and ended up bringing Ella there regularly. We ended up getting an Aussie Shepherd and one fateful day we had coyotes attack our livestock and the aussie hid

behind me and Ella ran at them full on and I knew right then, we needed another. So, I started looking and found a breeder in Colorado, she had just posted a pic of her dogs killing coyotes, I couldn't get a deposit to her fast enough to be on her list for her next litter. We had first pick and ended up getting a red patchwork male, he has been a challenge, I have thought about re-homing him so many times, but I couldn't. Needless to say 9 years later we have 7 Catahoulas and just love to promote this breed. They are so versatile and will do just about anything for you. They are a working dog thru and thru.

I just want it to known that I didn’t sell this pup(Murphy) to Kate with Western Illinois Catahoulas and DO NOT approve of her unethical practices. I wish more than anything I could get him back. I just don’t want people to see her advertising pups from a stud from my kennel and think I associate or approve of this kennel.
