🐾 This weekend, we celebrated our merger with Humane Society of Dallas County - Dog & Kitty City Shelter! 🎉 From facility tours to pet adoptions, it was a day filled with fun, laughter, and new beginnings. 💙

A huge thank you to our staff, volunteers, industry partners, and board members for making this event so special. We’re excited for this next chapter—stay tuned for all the amazing things ahead!

🐾🎶 Backstage with Ballerini! 🎶🐾

Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to bring three adorable adoptable kittens and three sweet puppies from the Humane Society of Dallas County - Dog & Kitty City Shelter to Dickies Arena, where they got to meet Kelsea Ballerini’s band and crew while on tour! 💕 Our furry friends had a blast socializing, playing, and soaking up all the love from the entire touring team.

A huge thank you to Kelsea and AEG for this amazing experience! Wishing you all the best on tour! 🎤✨

🚨 URGENT: Voyageur Had Just 30 Minutes Left 🚨

Voyageur had run out of time. With just 30 minutes before his euthanasia deadline, we stepped in—because no dog deserves to be left behind, especially one as strong as him.

We first thought his wounds were from a dog fight, but the truth is even more heartbreaking. Voyageur was likely hit by a car. His body tells the story: deep abdominal bruising, a painful hernia, and hind-end weakness that makes it hard for him to stand. He was also severely matted, adding even more pain to his already battered body.

Right now, Voyageur is receiving emergency care from —IV fluids, pain management, and round-the-clock monitoring—so we can stabilize him and give him the best chance at recovery. Tomorrow, he’ll transfer to to continue his fight.

This brave boy has been through so much, but his journey isn’t over. We’re fighting for him—will you? Your donation today will help cover his life-saving medical care and give Voyageur the second chance he deserves.

🐱 Changing Lives, One Cat at a Time! 🏡✨

Our CATS (Creating Attachment Through Safety) Dorm program is giving at-risk cats a second chance at life! By providing a safe and loving space for these feline friends, we're helping them find their forever homes—one cuddle at a time.

Just like with our BARK (Building Attachment And Resilience K-9) program, the youth in the CATS Dorm have the opportunity to take a course in small animal management as a part of their education curriculum. The resident cats also benefit from their time with the girls as they become more sociable and thus more adoptable.

Whether you foster, adopt, or donate, every effort helps these feline friends and these youth grow by providing resources we need for these programs.

🚨 Meet Peg Leg Peggy – Our Tiny Warrior! 🚨

This little lady has been through so much. Peg Leg Peggy was found as a stray with two broken legs—one had started healing, but incorrectly. The best chance for her to walk pain-free again was an extensive surgical procedure to plate and splint her fractures. 💔

Her surgery took so long that she had to stay overnight at Mazie’s Mission to recover. Now, she’s on the road to healing, but her vet bills have already reached $8,000—and we need your help to cover her care!

UPDATE IN THE COMMENTS!!

🚨 We are humbling coming before you AGAIN with another sweet pup that has a long medical journey and expensive vet bill. Can you spare your Saturday morning coffee to help, Moira?

💔 Zion, Franklin, Adelaide, Fannie, Indigo, Renner, Jasmine, Cookie Crisp, and so many others. They all came to us in desperate need—some sick, some in pain, some forgotten. And we fought for them.

Now, we have another fighter.

Moira, a 3-year-old French Bulldog, was found barely clinging to life—emaciated, covered in flea dirt, and weak from starvation. She had clearly been used for breeding, her frail body pushed past its limits. She couldn’t even lift her head.

Now, she’s hospitalized, fighting to survive. Her body is struggling we have to mindful of refeeding syndrome, a life-threatening condition that happens when someone who has been starved is fed too quickly. It’s a delicate, critical process to save her life.

The next 48 hours are everything.

This is what rescue looks like. It’s heartbreak. It’s hope. It’s showing up for the ones who have no one else. But we can’t do it without you.

Please, if you can, help us fight for Moira. Because she deserves to live.
