✨ Please see our modified office hours for next week due to the holidays.
✨ Please check your pet’s food and/or prescriptions to ensure they’ll last during the office closure.

🚨 If you find yourself requiring urgent veterinary care, you can contact either the Shubenacadie or the Truro office to be triaged by a veterinary professional.
🚨 If your pet is requires emergency veterinary care, please contact Maritime Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Centre at (902) 932-0838 for services.
🚨 We have a large animal veterinarian on call during closed office hours to attend large animal urgent calls. Please contact either of the offices to be triaged to whomever is on call.

Maggie (50kg Great Dane) and Maggie (1.8kg Toy Poodle) were in for their spays the other day and despite their size difference, both did great while they were in hospital!

Just what the Dogtor ordered - some Christmas Cheer!! 🎄✨
Our Truro office took our annual “Secret Santa” opportunity to give back this year! Santa Paws got to make a very special delivery to the iHeartRadio station on behalf of the Christmas Index Program. Together, we were able to fill a couple of bins and hopefully make some people smile! If you can, pay it forward! 🥰🙂🐶

Did you know Polydactyl cats, also known as Hemingway cats, have 1- 2 extra toes because of a genetic mutation. Ernest Hemingway reportedly owned dozens of polydactyl cats, which is where their Hemingway nickname comes from!

‼️ A friendly reminder that we are closed today, November 11th in recognition of Remembrance Day ‼️

🐾 If you find yourself needing urgent/emergent veterinary care, we encourage you to contact either of the Truro or Shubenacadie offices for veterinary triage, or contact Maritime Veterinary Emergency & Speciality Centre at 902-932-0838.
🐾 Large animal clients can contact the clinics and be triaged to the large animal veterinarian on call.
🐾 Office hours resume tomorrow, November 12 at 8am as usual.

REMINDER TO VALUED CLIENTS AND PATIENTS:

In recognition of Remembrance Day on Monday, November 11, both Fundy Veterinarians LTD. locations will be closed.

🐱 OPEN Saturday, November 9 from 8:30a-1:00p
🐱 CLOSED Sunday & Monday, November 10 & 11
🐱 OPEN Tuesday, November 12 for regular office hours (8:00a-5:00p)

🐶 To ensure any medications or food orders are picked up before our closure, please call the office(s) to have your items refilled or set aside. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for prescription refills to be made up.
🐶 As always, Maritime Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Centre will be available to take care of your family pets in the event of an emergency or urgent care. If you are unsure, you can contact either office for a veterinary professional to triage your call.
🐶 There will be a large animal veterinarian available for emergency services by contacting the clinic(s) phone number.
