Shorty needs a home ❤️

Don't let me spent the rest of my life without a home! Hi Everyone, I'm Shorty, and yes, I'm 12 years old and a "shorty" at 31 pounds. My face is really gray and I've got lumps and scars and some medical worries. I know it will take a very special someone to let me into their heart as my days, months, and years (I hope) may be few, but I so desperately want a home!! And I will make it worth it to you. I'm a dear boy who is housetrained and happy to spend time in a crate when you are gone. I'm very friendly, good with children, fine with other dogs, sleep a lot, and enjoy cuddles and affection. Spending time sunbathing and watching the world go by does my heart a world of good. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be the one to love and care for me as I will you! P.S. MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN DONATED!! P.P.S. I am in a quieter spot so please ASK to meet me.

We unfortunately have a very sick little kitty. Thankfully they were able to squeeze her in at the Vet today. She has an upper respiratory infection, ear mites, pulled a tick off (one of many already removed) and she's extremely underweight at only 3lb. That's antibiotics for 10 days, special food, and lots of cuddles. The good news is.... she has a name! Send your healing vibes to Astra! ❤️

The beautiful little arrival. So very skinny, bug ridden, and weary. We cleaned her up, fed her, and made her a soft bed in our quarantine stall. She'll need a name. She's one of us now.

It's with great sadness we relay the passing of two precious hens, Pepper and Athena. These two beautiful souls unexpectedly passed over the rainbow bridge this week during the hottest of days. We believe the heat and humidity was just too much.

These ladies were surrendered to us from a small egg production farm last year as 2-3 year olds who were no longer useful producers. Instead of a soup pot fate, they enjoyed a year of love, freedom and treats. These beautiful souls will be missed so much by us and by the sisters they left behind.

Freyja's foster Mom, Laura B. shared her story... A litter of puppies only days old were found abandoned outside in Alabama. Rescuers took in all the puppies but there was no Momma dog to be found. All the puppies had to be bottle fed to survive.

Thats where Hoof Woof and Meow Animal Rescue stepped in as fosters. Freyja and another littermate didn’t have fosters lined up for them. The transport driver brought them along from Alabama since she would be gone so long and they needed to be fed. Foster Mom, Laura said "one look at this sweet baby and I knew I needed to give her a chance at a better life I brought an extra foster pup home that day.😁 Best decision ever."

We think so too. Thank you Laura B. ❤️
