Beginning steps to teach the “down” command.

Ivy is going home this week and she is on point with her commands! The six basic commands we teach are sit, down, place, stay, come and heel.

River is wrapping up her final week of training. She is doing awesome with that stay and come command.

Three in one: Come Down Stay

Starting out with baiting and luring to teach Charlie his commands.

Here’s a minute and a half video of Rocky staying in his place command listening to the birds. Relaxing and being stationary is a big accomplishment for a 5 month old German shepherd.

River worked on extending his place command yesterday. He was here for several minutes before taking the video and he eventually got so relaxed he laid down. We will be using this tool and all of his other commands when we go out in public next week.

Tala is very reactive so we are strengthening her off leash commands before going out in public this week. I think she nailed it!

There are a lot of distractions for this young girl but still on point with that command!

Oh sweet Scarlett. She was not a fan of the leash this morning but with patience and guidance she was able to start loose leash walking all in one day. She’s a one year old GSD who has not been on a leash in several months.

Sitting in place is easy when your trainer is always in front but what happens when they walk behind you? She is slowly perfecting her sit command and moving on to down. Yen is super smart and picks up very quickly with her commands.

Finally open for buinsess! So excited to finally offer board and train services to our area and to finally go full time in a career and industry that I love! I’m so grateful for those who have been apart of this journey and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!
