Adela is always a happy baby even when she's in a cone! She has a scratch in her eye, we think from wrestling with Emma. Our big baby is going to the vet for a follow-up today. She gained 0.75 pounds in the past three months and she is massive!

I just processed the photos on my old camera and there were some that were over a year old! Adela was so tiny and now she's longer and heavier than Emma!

Happy Thanksgiving from Anneke and Emma!

Emma has been spending a lot more time on the bed with us since we returned from our trip. We suspect that it's not because she missed us but because it was her quiet hangout spot while we were gone 😹

[I used to take photos using my camera but got lazy because I had to transfer to the computer and edit, and my phone camera using portrait mode does a respectable job. I just got a Fuji X100VI (it's been over a decade since I had the original X100 and the X100S) and can transfer photos directly to my phone via the app! So expect better quality photos of the kitties going forward 😀]

Adela got her first adult winter coat in! She's so huge and fluffy.

Adela came over and plopped herself on my stomach! She used to get to hot to cuddle (and would get up and move two feet away from me) but maybe she was overheated with kitten energy and now she's all grown up? She's down for a nap and gently purring on me and I'm in heaven!

Adela's eye is all better but she still has to finish her course of antivirals. She's so easy to pill and I am very grateful for that. The big girls were at the vet for their annual checkups yesterday and Adela is now a pound heavier than Emma! Anneke is still the biggest one but she hasn't grown since last year.

It's the one year anniversary of Adela joining our family! She's such a sweet little pumpkin and always wants to be involved in everything. If she hears a noise she'll immediately jump up to investigate! She has become pretty bonded with Anneke and they are very competitive with each other for snacks and attention, and she wrestles with Emma regularly. She's in a cone because she still has a bit of an eye infection but hopefully it clears up soon!

All three babies hanging out on the cat tree! I had forgotten that I left the (daylight) basement door open. Adela was crying because she couldn't find her sisters and I called her downstairs. I love seeing them all together ❤️

We got back from two weeks away and Adela went from being a chonky potato to tall and lanky! You can't tell from the photo but her legs are so long now. She's clearly in a teenager phase 😺

It was Emma's 4th birthday a couple of days ago. Happy birthday to our devastatingly intelligent, efficient huntress!! I played with her a lot and gave her snacks; she still loves broccoli and corn chips 😹

Anneke's fever is finally falling and the vet thinks she can come home tomorrow after one more night of nutrition from the feeding tube! A sweet vet tech moved her to a big cage and set up a nest of blankets for her. Intense tummy rubs for an hour twice a day have lifted her spirits ❤️

Adela is 5 months old today! She's getting a lot of playtime while our friend is over.

Our friend brought over a Da Bird feather toy and all three of the girls went crazy for it (plus he's really good at the motions). Adela is flying all over the place! Anneke has been lazy about running recently but she's panting and Emma isn't trying to avoid Adela because she wants in on the action. The Cat Dancer used to be their favorite but no more!
