Rescuers were out looking for him yesterday after he was spotted by a Good Samaritan.

We would love to get him to the Animal Emergency Clinic on Summer Ave. He needs immediate help. 💔

🌟 **Walter’s Journey: A Tale of Resilience** 🌟

Walter has come so far since being picked up as a stray in Memphis, where he suffered a brutal attack by other dogs. He was rushed to an animal emergency clinic in critical condition, but thanks to the dedicated team there, he was stabilized and transferred back to the Memphis shelter.

That’s when we spotted him and made a social media post, seeking a volunteer to rush him to our vet for the care he desperately needed. That was last July, and it marked the beginning of Walter’s incredible transformation.

Immediately, Walter was put on intravenous antibiotics and stayed at the clinic until he was strong enough to leave. He faced numerous challenges: having an eye removed, being neutered, and overcoming heartworm treatment. Throughout his journey, he had four different fosters who provided him with love and support over the past seven months.

Tomorrow, Walter will embark on a new adventure as he heads to his forever home in New York! 🏡❤️

It’s disheartening to hear people claim that rescues are “making money.” Anyone who thinks that has never truly been involved in rescue. I won’t disclose the exact costs of Walter’s care, but let’s just say it was substantial. We could never have done this without your incredible support.

Spencer loves to lounge and his new family has his lounging spot already set up for when he arrives in NY this weekend.

Spencer is the last one of our Mississippi Highway puppies to be adopted.

He was the last one to be rescued as he was hiding in the woods when all his siblings were picked up. There were 8 total.
Spencer was left alone until a few people saw him searching for good as they went by in their car. Joann searched and searched until she found him.

Happy life Spencer man 💗 you are a very good boy.

Kellen has helped so many homeless/stay dogs. So many.
She currently has three MAR foster dogs and has fostered countless dogs in the past for us. Plus running her own rescue.

If you could send a few dollars her way to help, I know she would be so grateful.

Rescue is very expensive. I don’t know of any rescue that is not in the red every month. Donations are down and the rescue volunteers have to make up the difference with their personal funds.
Which is hard…. We need help.

🐾❤️ **Hero Needed!** ❤️🐾

This sweet mama dog and her 5 adorable puppies are in urgent need of a hero! Puppies are just 4 days old and currently have nowhere to go….they are in Mississippi. 🐶✨

We can transport them to Memphis, but they need a loving foster or to keep them safe and cared for. If you can help or know someone who can, please reach out! Let’s give this family a fighting chance!
